Turning my back to the soil and face the starry night's sky.
Amazed by the hypnotising lights of suns that had to die.
The seizing of the light in another world gives us these nights.
Maybe another other worldly girl like me looking at these lights.

She'll see other suns that have died in the distance.
But other than ours their sun will never be lit.
For her sun has died with only in a glance.
And her dead remains are all she sees with.

Her hopes and dreams have died far away.
For she never got older after that demise.
But with her death good came at day.
Because death created our starry skies.

History has repeated and today I'll still turn my back to the soil.
For there is no time for our world to seize it's light and boil.
We will always be blind of another.

Help me get up from this sleep.
I didn't notice falling so deep.
I'm affraid to hear ''his'' reap.
I'm not ready yet, hear me wheep!

I don't want to end this way.
Keep death just a little at bay.
I will make it worth, just let me stay.
I know I have wasted every year and day.

I just fell.
But I'm not affraid of falling anymore.
Don't live once, a reflective poem about wasting my life by making it my own. The only way a person lives beyond dying, is by leaving something behind. This self reflecting poem is therefore my way of saying I'm not ready to waste my life, but it's so hard to leave something behind. I want to mean something, but I keep falling, and one day, I will not fear death anymore.
A relationship with me is much like stepping on a grenade.

Thrilling, terrifying. and bound to implode.

So, if I find another great love,
I will not ask them to grow old with me.

I will ask them to

implode

with me.

I want to travel the Earth
following cotton candy sunsets
I want to drown my sadness
in cerulean blue waves
I want to live
like I dream
in vivid fantasy.

Touch me with eyes closed
to memorize
every line.

Kiss me with eyes open
to watch
as I melt with you.

If you tell me you kiss like you speak
I'll drink these words
as they fall from your lips.
I find you
In the strangest places
Like
In between the freckles
of her nose -
Curled up to sleep
in the nooks and crannies
of a bittersweet melody
Dipping your toes
In pools of sound -
Or
Shapeless, clinging
To skin bathed in light -
You drip
Letter after letter
Into the palm of my hand
As blue skies melt to blackness -
Sometimes
You sit, cross-legged, peaceful
Up to your neck in rippling whiteness
I can tell you've been
Waiting
Until a too-long stare brought you to life -
Yet
You crumble when I reach for you
A beautiful mess
Your inspiration drifts soundlessly down
Glowing embers
At my feet -
You leak in measured counts
From melancholy eyes -
I breath your colors
Your impassioned purples
The anguish in your orange vibrations -
You reach through the crack of my window
Stardust in your amber hair
My muse
Rock me to sleep
With lullabies of the mind -
You swallow me, in silence
Stare at me through the eyes of my lover
Whisper secrets
When the wind holds its breath -
You wrap your feathered arms
Around all that exists
And bring it to the edge
Of a kiss
But just
For a moment
When I struggle with my writing, it always comes back to little things that inspire me
