"i like the world best
when our paths
overlap,”she said,
with a tear.
October fifth, the night begets
Midnight hallways of uncertain threat
A whooshing of trees marks ambiguity
The cold hovering beneath my very feet

Sacrosanct creatures in Epiphanius state
With dust in shelves and candles that melt
A frightening woe nigh unsaid nor upheld

Twas an airy voice lurking the dark
Such lush but nothing of any spark
The floors were tilted and web's shifted
Fixated minds suddenly felt desolated

With all the corners of every dorm
She yearns something, finding her prose
Crossing borders, ruffling like a storm

The woeing wind woes as she goes
Nothing to keep, nothing to show
Her runic is fading, losing its tone
It never stopped till morning and all is gone

There was forever
But I only needed now,
For you are timeless.

Dare to tell others of their capability
Do their hearts receive the required facility
Ask them, hurdles in their way you'll know
Not the slightest clue of their ability

Do you reside in their brain or what
System's present in the frontal lobe but
You're not from the cerebrum are you?
If not, then just keep your mouth shut

They're able but most can't show
It takes time to cook the dough
Lack of Confidence or fear of insult
But people like you just don't grow

It be the others or may it be you
Concentration will lead them through
Quite capable and filled with potential
Grow hatred or love, they'll respect you too

One good deed,

Grant free tokens of knowledge from your shelf
The changes in life, you'll witness yourself

Capable am I and so is everyone!
One who believes, may it be anyone..

To all those doubters, you cant beat the spirit!
Never give up and work for your goal no matter the hurdles.
Don't look for healing in somebody else. They might be looking for the same
Children are not so oblivious as an adult
Their wide eyes seem to see so much more than we
Their tiny ears pick up feeling and
We think them ignorant.

I babysat my two nieces,
One was 5, the other 7
And as I walked through the door one day
They greeted me,
“Aspen, why are you sad?”

Nobody else seemed to see
The buildings in my head crashing
But these little girls knew instantly.
Even when I smiled and assured them I was fine
They snuck little worried glances at me

At the end of the day,
When I had forgotten the beginning,
They hugged me
They said they loved me and that’d I’d be okay
Because they knew I needed it.

Children are not so oblivious as an adult.

Nay; the question may yes indeed be - how hath thine been; neither what is to be, nor not to be.
I say,
my word,
indeed,
top marks old chap.

I fell in love
not with you
but the way
you validated me
when you grew tired
and could not hold my sorrows
in your shaking hands
I felt nothing
I laid my worth on you
full forced and terribly
I loved you not
for who you were
but who you let me be
and I am sorry

When
        we think like
                       stones..

But drown when our
               thoughts
                       get to heavy....

Where soulless white shades hang.
                             The tempest of breath
Clings around these hung effigies..

Drying them of sweet nectars fluid..
                          Even though evaporated
     the essence of summer lingers.
