"ham" poems
Some say love's a little boy, And some say it's a bird, Some say it makes the world go around, Some say that's absurd, And when I asked the man next-door, Who looked as if he knew, His wife got very cross indeed, And said it wouldn't do. Does it look like a pair of pyjamas, Or the ham in a temperance hotel? Does its odour remind one of llamas, Or has it a comforting smell? Is it prickly to touch as a hedge is, Or soft as eiderdown fluff? Is it sharp or quite smooth at the edges? O tell me the truth about love. Our history books refer to it In cryptic little notes, It's quite a common topic on The Transatlantic boats; I've found the subject mentioned in Accounts of suicides, And even seen it scribbled on The backs of railway guides. Does it howl like a hungry Alsatian, Or boom like a military band? Could one give a first-rate imitation On a saw or a Steinway Grand? Is its singing at parties a riot? Does it only like Classical stuff? Will it stop when one wants to be quiet? O tell me the truth about love. I looked inside the summer-house; It wasn't over there; I tried the Thames at Maidenhead, And Brighton's bracing air. I don't know what the blackbird sang, Or what the tulip said; But it wasn't in the chicken-run, Or underneath the bed. Can it pull extraordinary faces? Is it usually sick on a swing? Does it spend all its time at the races, or fiddling with pieces of string? Has it views of its own about money? Does it think Patriotism enough? Are its stories ****** but funny? O tell me the truth about love. When it comes, will it come without warning Just as I'm picking my nose? Will it knock on my door in the morning, Or tread in the bus on my toes? Will it come like a change in the weather? Will its greeting be courteous or rough? Will it alter my life altogether? O tell me the truth about love.

O Tell Me The Truth About Love

There once was a young man named Feste, and he was not a very good young man. He was a thief, and a sneaky one at that. He would go to all of the stores in the market and steal anything that he pleased. He loved to steal from the baker and the butcher especially. He would go to his hiding place in the forest after his deviousness and eat away his stolen treasures, brooding on what a “clever little boy” he was. The baker and the butcher knew though. They noticed him coming in most days and leaving in quite a hurry. They could not actually catch him in the act, but they knew beyond a doubt what he was doing. They were having drinks together one night though when they devised a clever scheme to stop him from stealing ever again. The butcher carved up a juicy ham, and the baker baked up a delicious pie, but they added a little something extra to it… The butcher made sure to quite a bit of alcohol into the ham, and the baker did the same with his pie. They both set their two traps in the store, right when the spoiled thief Feste came strolling into the market with his eyes gleaming. The baker watched him walk into his shop, the pie disappeared. The butcher watched him walk into his shop, the ham disappeared. They both smiled and went about their work. Feste rushed to his hiding place and devoured his stolen goodies so fast that he didn’t even realize how peculiar it seemed to taste... Not long after, he started to feel strange. Numb and stupid. He ran towards the village, acting a buffoon. The villagers stared and laughed at Feste acting so odd. His mother found him though and brought down the fury. “Feste! Why are you acting like a **** fool?" She demanded. He threw out a few words in a drunken stupor and swayed in place. "Wait.. have you been drinking!?” She screamed. “Noe maum! Allll Ie had todae is pie and haam!” He stammered in a drunken sway. “And where exactly did you get those!?” She inquired. Feste had a look of terror on his face and grew silent. He was found out to be the no good thief and was punished severely, because his mother thought he stole the alcohol as well as the pie and ham, and he couldn’t prove otherwise. Feste never stole again and he even apologized to the butcher and baker, though they still do have a laugh now and then… The End

I hate how the words "Lesbian," "Gay," "Bisexual," et cetera Are thought of as bad words. It's like, oh, no, don't teach your little sister the word lesbian Don't tell her there are some girls who like other girls How inappropriate! It's like, oh, no, don't teach your little brother the word gay Don't tell him there are some boys who like other boys How disgusting! Don't let anyone under the age you deem appropriate know That there are people who aren't heterosexual Why? I can't possibly understand why. There is no reason for homophobia, not really. I saw a metaphor somewhere that went something like this: "I was in Subway, and I bought myself a ham sub. As I was paying, the man behind me bought a different sub than me, and I was immediately offended that he got a different sandwich." This is what it sounds like when people say homosexual people affect them. How do they affect you? Just because they don't love someone who is of the opposite *** Or just because they like both Or something else Just because of their ****** preference, no matter what it may be You think that gives you reason to hate them? Really? Just because they're different than the 'normal' you're used to? Normality is relative. You can't say it's not "normal." That is not a justified nor sensical argument. What is wrong with those people? Can't they just see past all their biases and realize that we're all people And we all deserve the same rights no matter who we're attracted to No matter who we kiss No matter who we touch No matter who we have *** with Is it really that difficult? **We're all humans when it comes down to it, and we all deserve the same rights. Everyone should be able to see that.** And you know what I wonder? Why are we voting on whether people deserve rights or not in the first place? And then there's people who act like homosexuality is a disease People who act like anyone who is anything but heterosexual is broken and needs to be fixed They're not broken. They don't need to be fixed. They are who they are, and the government shouldn't tell them what they can and cannot do Based simply and only on who they're attracted to. "You can't get married because you aren't straight." Do you realize how shallow that is? Do you? "You're disgusting because you aren't straight." Why? Why should it matter to you who they're in a relationship with? It's their life, their decision. No one ever asks heterosexual people why they're heterosexual. No one ever says, "Hey, when did you decide you were straight?" It's just ridiculous, and I'm fed up of it. "If gay marriage is legalized, more people will become gay." Oh, yeah, sure, of course, that will totally happen. Just like when African Americans were given rights Everyone decided they wanted to go out and become African American. Just like when women were given rights Everyone decided they wanted to go out and become female. People of all sorts of sexualities and preferences have grown up With mostly straight media everywhere It didn't "turn" them straight. So gay media won't "turn" anyone gay It won't hurt anyone if there's a gay couple in a commercial. Or a TV show. Or any other form of media. It makes me sick to think that just because of your personal opinion My friends who are not heterosexual would not be allowed to get married To the person that they love. Do you know what will happen if gay marriage is legalized? Gay people will get married. Why can't you just understand that it doesn't matter? Why should you care what they do? Why should you care who they like? It doesn't affect you. It doesn't change you. It's just giving LGBT people more control over their own lives. It's just giving LGBT people rights they should have had in the first place. Why?

Why?

Ghalib Shayari Collection in Urdu
Little Birds are dining Warily and well, Hid in mossy cell: Hid, I say, by waiters Gorgeous in their gaiters - I've a Tale to tell. Little Birds are feeding Justices with jam, Rich in frizzled ham: Rich, I say, in oysters Haunting shady cloisters - That is what I am. Little Birds are teaching Tigresses to smile, Innocent of guile: Smile, I say, not smirkle - Mouth a semicircle, That's the proper style! Little Birds are sleeping All among the pins, Where the loser wins: Where, I say, he sneezes When and how he pleases - So the Tale begins. Little Birds are writing Interesting books, To be read by cooks: Read, I say, not roasted - Letterpress, when toasted, Loses its good looks. Little Birds are playing Bagpipes on the shore, Where the tourists snore: "Thanks!" they cry. "'Tis thrilling! Take, oh take this shilling! Let us have no more!" Little Birds are bathing Crocodiles in cream, Like a happy dream: Like, but not so lasting - Crocodiles, when fasting, Are not all they seem! Little Birds are choking Baronets with bun, Taught to fire a gun: Taught, I say, to splinter Salmon in the winter - Merely for the fun. Little Birds are hiding Crimes in carpet-bags, Blessed by happy stags: Blessed, I say, though beaten - Since our friends are eaten When the memory flags. Little Birds are tasting Gratitude and gold, Pale with sudden cold: Pale, I say, and wrinkled - When the bells have tinkled, And the Tale is told.

Judai ~~♥~~ Suno jaana Mujhse kai logo ne pucha hai. judai kaisi hoti hai. judai kaisi hoti hai. Me kehta hu Zara thehro batata hu. judai kaisi hoti hai. judai aisi hoti hai. bhari mehfil me bhi kahi tanhai me kho jana. Kirchi kirchi kanch ke tukdo sa bikhar jana. Or un tukdo me ek hi bas ek hi chehere ka nazar ana. Judai aisi hoti hai. Simatna chah kar bhi khud se na simat pana. Har kisi ke samne muskan chehre par le ana. Dard saare chupane ki ek nakaam si be-matlab koshish kiye jaana. khud apne aap se us lamhat me nafrat si ** jana. Judai aisi hoti hai. Mulakato ke naam pe milna u to kai logo se har chehre me usi bas Usi chehre ko dhundte jaana. Naam uska apne lab pe saja lena. Us ki kahi koi baat yaad ane par rote hue thahake mar ke hans dena. Starting with coverage from BBC2. Brushing calm shadows into pastel hills. A rhythm paints terrain a sugary brown. Flicks of green create fauliage serene. The clean tasteless air is cotton soft. A effortless stream runs cobalt clear. Where salmon gymnastics begin each year. Squirrels practice dance routines a glamorous red. The doormice dressed and ready for bed. Continuing coverage on Ch4. The perch, the tench sat together on an underwater bench. Discussing bait and hooks whilst flicking through some fishing books. What's he eating? Mr Mole, it looks like cheese and ham on a soft brown roll. There's a chicken and a fox that live round here. Seriously, they've been dating each other for about a year. Now, if you take the next left, then over the stye. There's a duck lives there, call in and say, hi! Poetry by Kaydee.

first half of today
I'm craving for food, maybe some eggs or waffles. Maybe a bacon on the side and a sausage. A huge pancake with a lot of syrup, strawberries and bananas on the top. A piece of bread with ham and cheese inside of it. A side of fruits of different kinds , chocolate or an apple pie. A big glass of juice, it could be orange or cranberry. The cup of coffee... Oh, I want a cup of coffee. I want something that makes me feel better in this cold and hungry morning. Why not everything mixed? Why not make a big breakfast buffet? Scrambled eggs, waffles with bacon, pancakes, the sweet syrup, some delicious strawberries and bananas as a topping, a mini sandwich, fruits with chocolate and another dessert. The glass of juice for the end, the lovely cup of coffee to begin. I want to do a breakfast party, I'm starving.

The Door
Mary had a little lamb, two lobsters and a Christmas ham, a three-pound tub of chicken wings, seven bratwurst tied with strings, thirteen loaves of garlic bread, a schnitzel bigger than her head, four rare steaks, a dozen eggs, caviar and turkey's legs, strips of bacon, mushroom stew, chunks of bread and cheese fondue, and two whole jars of sauerkraut, (to clean all of her insides out). Finishing the pasta salad, Mary soon looked drawn and pallid. "I don't feel well," poor Mary said. "I think I need to rest my head." Then from her stomach came a moan, a straining, churning, twisted groan. Mary gasped; her eyes grew wide. She'd only seconds to decide. What could she do? Where could she go? Her stomach was about to blow! So, reaching for the nearest bucket, she retched, and then began to chuck it. All the courses that she'd swallowed, and the apertifs they'd followed, all the steaks and all the fish, each and every single dish came flying back from in her belly, filling up the bucket smelly with a foul and toxic brew, and no one knew quite what to do, so this went on for ten whole minutes till Mary had expelled her innards. When she was done, her eyes were red, and sweat was pouring from her head. "Are you alright, sweet Mary dear?" her mother asked. She didn't hear. For Mary was already off - the waiters saw her try to scoff the whole entire pudding bar. Now, this had pushed her mum too far. "Alright!" her mother cried, "I'm through! I've done the best that I can do. I'm sick and tired of all you eat. I will not pay for all this meat. I'm going home. Go get some help —" Then Mary's mum let out a yelp! She glanced down at her legs and saw sweet Mary there begin to gnaw! She struck the lass, but with great haste, alas, the girl had reached her waist. As Mary's ma was there devoured by her offspring, overpowered, she cried one thing ere final slaughter: "It smells like lamb in here, my daughter." Mary licked her lips and grinned. She belched out loud and then broke wind. She felt her tummy start to rumble - and calmly ordered apple crumble.

Winter is icummen in, Lhude sing Goddamm, Raineth drop and staineth slop, and how the wind doth ramm, Sing: Goddamm. Skiddeth bus and sloppeth us, An ague hath my ham. Freezeth river, turneth liver, Damn you, sing: Goddamm. Goddamm, Goddamm, ’tis why I am, Goddamm, So ‘gainst the winter’s balm. Sing goddamm, damm, sing Goddamm, Sing goddamm, sing goddamm, DAMM.

Tea Talk (or Taking Tea) Jam comes first And then the cream Said the scone from Cornwall To one ‘n’ all Taking tea Milk jug blinked. The teaspoon gasped, Who would have linked The layers of bliss that sweetly kiss With their order between the halves of a scone From Cornwall Where one ‘n’ all Know that the milk is churned Until it’s solid Then we say the cream is clotted. The teapot looked at the scone from Devon Who knows that cream and jam is heaven But only if the cream comes first And then the jam . . . . . My thoughts exactly said the ham From between its sandwich fingers Where it lingers Until it’s time for tea. ‘Are you sure?’ the teacup said To ham within its breaden bed. Saucer asked the cucumber salad, ‘Should jam come first?’ ‘But does it matter?’ said cucumber salad. ‘It’s a ballad So red and white, A symphony of taste Into which to bite. It is so right For those who are taking tea,’ ‘Jam then cream, is what you do,’ Insisted Cornwall’s scone who As we know likes cream to be clotted. But tomato blushed and quickly said, ‘With cream from Devon I am besotted Because we know it’s clotted. . . . . Too. Onion, hearing Cornwall and Devon Knows that cream and jam are heaven . . . . . But jam and cream are bliss Sealed with a kiss that is heaven . . . . .too. The dilemma of order fuels onion’s frustration And onion’s tears lead to prostration For those who are taking tea. What is to be done To solve the question of order Jam first . . . . . or cream? The issue borders On the ridiculous As the layers sweetly intermingle Like the lovers’ kiss As those who are taking tea Bite . . . . . Ouch! said onion The scone from Cornwall And the scone from Devon ‘Either way is heaven. David Applin Copyright …David Applin (2015)

I can't believe I bought them. Is this the top scoop? I've entered a raffle for pea & ham soup. I can't even eat it, I'm vegetarian you see. Won't you just change it to tomato for me? I don't mind the peas, It's the ham that's no good. They slaughter those piggies screaming, covered in blood. Eyes bulging, their throats cut. It's really not nice. There's so much more to choose from, not just cakes made of rice. Have you seen how they nugget, crispy goujons and breast? They've found faeces and gristle in a food safety test. So don't think that these people have your interests at best. Look it up, do your research and I'll give it a rest! Poetry by Kaydee.

We meet again, young debutante! but what next? shall we ponder over coffee, or dance through the streets with only our thoughts to keep rhythm? Let us ask thine friend, the caterpillar. nay, he says, neither are to be, it is a picnic that you seek. where the ground is warm, and the sun is hot. What a grand idea! I shall go right off to make thy picnic one of perfection! but where to start? to the butcher for meat. the baker for bread. ............................... Why must he bother me yet again? He stalks me like a shadow, claiming I talk to caterpillars. he’’s raving mad! A picnic? I will do no such thing? however, I can use this to my advantage. The butcher’s cleaver never looked so beautiful, the soft glimmer in the light, Oh but if i could get my hands on it! His back is turned, now’s my chance! ................................. Oh dearest! please have some ham and bread. come sit by me and tell me of your day! Oh I pray you tell me about your learnings! What beautiful hair you have! It glows like the sun shines, and your dress is even more beautiful than before, tell me, how do you radiate such beauty? ................................ I will lie. I can feel the cleaver in my bag, a weight on my shoulder, the meat and bread are horrid. he is so pathetic! Beauty is the way the blood spurted from his chest! glowing is how my face feels when it is splashed with his blood! gentle is the wind over his lifeless body. Oh what a grand picnic indeed!

The Picnic
I'm a Tree Huggin', Soy Chuggin', I won't eat no meat I'm a vegan of convenience, Still, there's leather on my feet I don't believe in lots of things I'll protest and attack But you won't find me out in front 'Cause I'll be in the back I give money to my causes Save the whales, electric cars But I'm not one to lead the fight "Cause I don't like the scars Bricks get thrown alot you see And those things ****** hurt And I'm not a happy camper When there's blood upon my shirt I won't eat seeds of any sort They get stuck in my teeth My clothes are all from LL Bean Except what's underneath Way back in the sixties I lived communaly We ate only what the earth gave up We didn't watch tv As years passed by, our voices died Our causes became much rarer We sounded more like Manilow Than Phil Ochs or Tom Lehrer I choose fine wine over wheatgrass juice I like leather and wear silk I no longer go and get the goat So we can have fresh milk I'm a Tree Huggin', Soy Chuggin', I won't eat no meat I'm a vegan of convenience, Still, there's leather on my feet I don't believe in lots of things I'll protest and attack But you won't find me out in front 'Cause I'll be in the back I've changed lots since the sixties I'm a capitalist blood hound If I said I'm a true vegan My board would see me drowned I used to wear just cotton Hemp and caftans and blue jeans Leather shoes and belts and jackets Were just not part of my scene My friends, well, they grew up And others stayed in touch The ones with money see me The others not so much I used to go out jogging Through the park in puma shoes Now I workout in a private gym Wearing nikes and with my crew You see I'm still a vegan When it suits me, don't you see My new girlfriend likes organic And she's only twenty three There's forty years between us Though I've done it all before When my girlfriend is not with me I am a carnivore I support all of her causes Though most things I don't attend I'll be a vegan of convenience Until our courtship ends Who knows, what then will happen Will I eat Tofu or some chops I know which way I'm leaning We'll see how that one drops Like I said when we first started I am a vegan, so I am But instead of eating quinoa I'll stick to eggs and ham. I'm a Tree Huggin', Soy Chuggin', I won't eat no meat I'm a vegan of convenience, Still, there's leather on my feet I don't believe in lots of things I'll protest and attack But you won't find me out in front 'Cause I'll be in the back

WHAT does the hangman think about When he goes home at night from work? When he sits down with his wife and Children for a cup of coffee and a Plate of ham and eggs, do they ask Him if it was a good day's work And everything went well or do they Stay off some topics and talk about The weather, base ball, politics And the comic strips in the papers And the movies? Do they look at his Hands when he reaches for the coffee Or the ham and eggs? If the little Ones say, Daddy, play horse, here's A rope-does he answer like a joke: I seen enough rope for today? Or does his face light up like a Bonfire of joy and does he say: It's a good and dandy world we live In. And if a white face moon looks In through a window where a baby girl Sleeps and the moon gleams mix with Baby ears and baby hair-the hangman- How does he act then? It must be easy For him. Anything is easy for a hangman, I guess.
