Always in the rush
Always pressured to comply
Always expected to perform well.

This is the problem with humans
They are not immortals
They always lack

Time.

And suddenly, the bed was made!
The windows, gleaming with cleanliness
The clothes hanged well
All in their proper places.

How I wonder how she does it
Keeping things in order as if it's magic
This finesse of orderliness
I cannot seem to mimic.

Our marriage is like that:
Between a pretty damsel and an ogre
She makes a home out of a house
It's hard to imitate her.

(in exile, for failure to rise on the third day)

~

There is a spectrum of light
so deeply embedded into darkness,
that it is no longer discernible
as light to the human eye,

And so it is beyond the scope
of certainty; the realms that
this spectrum of light operates in.

And there is an observation point, wholly
outside the realms of human introspection;
as is there is an enduring nature of
the spectrum of light  that transcends
even the fire of judgement;

(in the simple fact that it will remain
after all else   is burned off);

Yet, until that day comes,
it will remain suspended; in
an almost uneasy uncertainty--

even  of its own salvation.

Yes, it is a light that transcends it all, yet
being no longer discernible
as light, to the human eye,

it  is subject to human judgement.

I have seen those familiar with that
spectrum.. and with things, real.
I am overwhelmed with sadness

--wondering how very lonely they each must be.
I hope to get to know more of them someday.

And, as for their spectrum of light--

I would trust it with all of who  it is
        that I am.

"And the light shined in darkness,
and the darkness could not put it out."

A Poem

Why bother?

It can be longer or shorter.

It doesn't matter.

A poem is a mirror
Reflecting someone's heart.
My Clyde,
You said you’d always
Protect me, never leave me.
**** and be killed for me.
That together, we’d burn
The world that broke us.
And I was your Bonnie,
You had all of me.
I was willing to do anything,
But now I’m just a memory.

My heart
My heart
Can't call out to
Something that isn't there
It won't call out
Into the unknown
You left me there
You left me there to die
How can I forgive?
Oh God! Save me!
Oh God! Save us!
This isn't my time
This isn't the place
Hell hath no fury
Like a broken heart!!
My heart can't call out
My heart won't call out

I had not minded—Walls—
Were Universe—one Rock—
And fr I heard his silver Call
The other side the Block—

I’d tunnel—till my Groove
Pushed sudden thro’ to his—
Then my face take her Recompense—
The looking in his Eyes—

But ’tis a single Hair—
A filament—a law—
A Cobweb—wove in Adamant—
A Battlement—of Straw—

A limit like the Veil
Unto the Lady’s face—
But every Mesh—a Citadel—
And Dragons—in the Crease—

Living life on the edge--
Always wondering when the next
Unearthly shiver, the next
Wave would crest and fall on you and
Everything would slow down for a few
Seconds
(They felt like hours)
When your insides would
Flip and freeze and
Everything was out to get you
But you were--
Stuck between cobwebs, face
Contorting (only on the inside)
--A short eternity
Jailed between the suffocating
Walls of your crimson-coloured
Mind.

(No escape)

Benign, benevolent ballerina bubbly bathing by beautiful blossoming balsams.

A gander I took and I was a statue, still, allured, and enchanted. my lips basted by beauty, before her I was an apparition, lost in forests of adulation.

A vanishing spirit soon to be a vestige of a vestige. I shall wage wars, arm myself and battle my way to her hands that can melt the glaciers residing in my heart.
What if I said public speaking.. mhhhh enjoy.
