~

there is no greater romance
than a love through words
that pour from the soul
staining endless pages in ink
there is no greater romance
than the souls cheated by time
yet stay afloat through the memories
when their hearts start to sink

and inferior we are not
you and me
biological ancestors
creator
mother father
equivalent
we are identical companions
in this parallel universe
realise the existence of human rights
and the extreme planetary cleanse

Finger on the trigger
But the trigger finger isnt my own
Stainless depression bullets
Dipped in anxiety
Laced with a society
That'll never accept me

The purest emotion was never love
For love is just a facade for hate not yet conceived
For she is the gatekeeper to our demons
For her it is just a game to see
Who can handle the pain
For love isn't real and will surely die
But hate stays forever
Just like my heart you left broken
I hate her more than I ever did love
Except now there's no strings attached
I'm the controller of my own fate
She doesn't play the strings anymore
Orchestra in the background
Commemorating this day of hate
A day no wedding will ever top
Hatred

My soul forever damaged
Predetermined failure
Molded into the person I am today
Afraid of the mirror
Indulged by the shadows
A wearer of many masks
Each with it's own story
But hiding the same pain
Quietly
In the dead of day
In the bright moon light
He sneaks out
Leaving behind the masks he wore
For so many years
You've probably seen him in the streets
Just never recognized the face he wore
That day

We’re born,
We die.
In between,
we figure out why

The meaning of life is love letters to yourself,
The meaning of life is facing the dark inside,
and coming out the other side.

But mostly,
It's hope.
It's the sun rising after a lonely night.
It's the rain tumbling onto your upturned face.
It's an old poem, a dusty book.
But most of all,
It's joy

She died drunk as desolation
played her a gentle hymn
with flies crawling from under her tongue
and leaving her to her grave.

My tears made spots in
the dirt on her face,
we were in love with the chase of
highs we no longer attained.

Like sunken bug bites on her arm
with cuts all along her thigh,
I couldn't keep her from harm so we
cried through the nights as our highs
damaged us as much as the lows.

One day she moved no more,
having begged and beaten on the door
for too long till her hands were bruised,
and her soul failed her after so much disuse.
she’s too strong,
she’s too much,
she’s too tough to love.

she’s too hard,
she’s too broken,
she’s not enough.

she’s imperfect,
she’s wild,
she’s lost in the wind.
she’s insane,
sending signs of chaos from within.
