Meera
sad like her cheeks when she forces a smile
dry like her lips when she kisses my cheeks
lost like her expressions when she stares into the darkness
Quivering like her voice when she lies that she's okay
Deaf like her ears when she slips  back into her void
tired as her eyes when she hasn't slept all night
Yellow as the pills she places on her tongue
And red as the wine she gulps them down with

If you ever wonder what depression looks like
It looks like my mother's face

I see a world so hungry
Like god created the starving
And, not our greedy marring
One day this world will eat us
Innocent or guilty you must plead
This world is a monster you cannot feed
No words describing it are easy to read
In a world where only evil is feeding the ones in need
In a world that is taking everything you breed
We created a world we can never fit in
A place that gathers every single sin
The ones you commit and the ones you keep within
Some say you can keep everything away from this monster
Marry the devil commit to him and sing
Make him laugh a lifetime in a day
And, he'll give you the sacred ring
This human world is tragic! Look around you!
This human world is evil. (Capitalism)

A Dark Apple

He was desperate for guidance
So she took him to a place
She wore her black cursed lace
Evil was forever glued to him like paste
He swam in the sea of toxic-waste
He then could not recognize his own face
This was not some crazy-love phase
He was running in a very dark maze
Broke the seal of all his faith
Like the ashes in a haunted vase
He was lost in the darkest space
This kind of love is a hopeless case
A melancholy you don't want to replace
A sin the devil wants you to chase
The apple Adam and Eve had to taste
A dark kind of love. (Seduction)
Her feet as light as a feather
At her own pace, moving at her leisure
Her toes making ripples in the water
Gliding over the substance as slow as a saunter
She stares at her reflection as it ripples away
She plunges her hand in and the water will obey
Water trickles through the cracks her cupped hand
Everything about it she can understand
Her only friend, companion, that listens to her every demand
Smiling to herself, she feels grand

Sometimes I like to imagine I have superpowers, but it's all just a fantasy.
I look up at the sky and think of you
Somewhere on earth
You can see the same sky as me
The same stars as me
Yet we are so far apart
The feeling just breaks my heart
I want to be with you
I want you to be with me
Yet that is just my fantasy
