I'd like it to be complicated
Blame the timing
But it's clear to me
You don't want me
And it hurts because it's easy
In a parallel universe you and I are amazing
I am your everything

It hurts because it's easy for you
You didn't blink and let me go
Let me drift into the unknown
A hopeless heart with no home

It hurts because it's easy
You would rather be alone
So I have to say goodbye
I have to cry and lie and try and somehow get by
and it's not easy

Why is it
That the biggest hearts
Are emptied the fastest?

And the brightest souls
Are blackened
The quickest?

Poetic T
In the motionless water it
Is static, carried from edge
To far by the whispers of
Breeze. It is transfixed
Between two realms, both
Transparent upon the eye.

It was motion but no more,
Life was lived but only floats
No more. Like a plastic bottle
With a hole, It takes its fill,
Slower than a stone it sinks
Like a leaf falling from a tree.

It is stillness upon the ground
And eyes are open, gentle
Stillness no noise just the
Gentleness of surroundings.
There is no breath, no life
Only motionless swaying as
What now lies at the bottom
Of this pool.

Hearts of steel
Hearts of stone

Hearts of diamond
Hearts of dust

Hearts of paper
Hearts of plastic

Hearts of steel
Are strong
Sturdy
Reliable
But you can never see inside

Hearts of stone
Are strong
But from pain
In the past they were
Hot lava
But they've hardened
By the world's touch

Hearts of diamond
You can see inside
Their deepest fears
And weaknesses
But they are strong
You will never break them

Hearts of dust
Are vulnerable
Beautiful
But blown away
By the first gust of wind

Hearts of paper
Rip easily
But can be
Put back together
And be mostly the same
They record their life's pain
On their heart

Hearts of plastic
Are clear
You can see inside
They are melted easily
Damaged effortlessly
But kept safe
They are lovely
And wonderful

Hearts are not
Simply blood and tissue
They are
Steel and stone
Diamond and dust
Or paper and plastic
Or many more

He has the face of an outmoded brick wall.

She never wears her heart on her sleeve.

He watches the world through
The eyes of a sailor
Anticipating for the storm
And always remaining anxious in the calm waters waiting for the waves.

She listens to what you say
Like the critic to your own novel.
Holding onto each word
And waiting for the slight chance
That you might go back on what you once believed.

He tastes what's around him in small portions.
Because if he ever got the opportunity to taste something so beautiful and unforgettable, his heart would be like pieces of sand on the floor in its absence.

She holds her nose in the smell of trouble as if hypocritical presnece is toxic.
Her lungs will fill up with the lies and ***** secrets of the world and turn them into tar.
She knows once she get that one sniff, she won't ever breathe the same again.

These are the Stone Poets.
The ones who have their eyes on everything.
From the way we blink to the techniques we use to tie our shoelaces, they have got our words and actions down to a personal science.

The Stone Poets are the poets that have to most heart in the words that they say, but you would never guess it was them if you somehow got the enchanting opportunity to look them in the eye.

We were not made for each other
But can’t we make it ourselves,

I don’t expect for life time
But can’t we make it for sometime,

Let’s go somewhere far
Far from our restrictions,
You and me and no one there

Those eyes, I hardly got to see
Let me dive in them for some hours,
Those lips, I hardly got to see
Let me kiss them for some hours,

Those wish unfulfilled
Let’s make them true my love,

Let’s make the moment so special
That even if when we are far,
We will enjoy missing each other
With the memory of that time together,
Love

Pity the fool who does
not believe words can
change lives
They told me not to love her
But ******* she was beautiful.
The kind of beautiful that reminds you of home.
When you were young and the streetlights were your curfew.
I've been watching them turn on
But I don't know where to go
Because home was her smile, her arms, her.
So I've been sleeping on the street where we used to meet
Hoping she'll turn up
And let me get lost in her puppy dog eyes.
I hear she's with you now
And i know she is so ******* beautiful
But I'm telling you,
Do not love her
Because the streetlights will come on
And you won't know where to go.
