We walk around expectations
Dressed in shades of sadness colored blue
Smiles that keep us glued together
Not matching the rest of our hue

Our eyes betray silent agony
The stormy secrets hidden well
Wash me clean or strip me bare
From this temporary hell

Chase happiness while you can
Do not think it can always wait
The day you get around to it
Could be one day too late
We walk around with sadness and smiles that do not match our eyes

Learn patience
Like it's your first steps.

Learn to be patient with yourself.
Learn to be patient with others.
Learn to be patient with your environment.

You are
Always
Waiting.

Do so patiently.
Just need to hear this myself really

do not wait for the flower to bloom,
because when Spring comes around,
the flower will be too shy.

Last night, I waited.
I waited today.
I waited tomorrow.
I waited ‘till my days were filled with nothing but sorrow.

Last night,
I waited ‘till
My eyelids were held open by thoughts of you.
‘Till the grass was glowing iridescent with dew.

Last night,
I waited for you.

My dreams were filled with tears.
My night was filled with fear.
In constant dread, I wait.

I wait for you.
Days to weeks.
Weeks to months.
Months to years.

I soon turned to dust.
Leaving my aching bones crushed.
In my grave--
I rest, silently.
Patiently, and desperately waiting for you.
To join me too.

don't plunge
just wait back,
"sunrise is yet to come
and sunset is yet too far"
just come close,
lock this moment
I wanna see you smile
I have been cold for a while...
let us hitch with love as a moment of farewell.

At first just a crack;
A glimpse inside, I’ve lowered them;
Just for your viewing;
What will you do once included?
Will you play the same?
The women before you the game?
Where you tear at my soul;
Where you taste another?
Will you leave me broken and foul?
I hope not, I wish not, I want so bad;
For you to be the one;
The one I’ve waited for; the one to heal
And so with loose hands I hold you;
I wait, I choke, and I hope.
Please be the one; Please be for me;
I won’t so bad to watch them crumble

Drowning
Even before the floodgates
Break
Pulled to the bottom
By an infinite weight
I'll never be able to lift it
All I can do
All any of us can do
Is wait

Because someday
These clouds will fade
The sky will clear
I'll feel the sun on my face
And it will be more
Than worth the wait

I'll hold my breath
Until the end of time
If it means that I
Will witness the stars
I'll fall apart
A thousands times
Just so I
Can someday be whole
And I will be
We will be
Just wait

Because someday
When the sun comes through
And the light breaks our bodies
We will rise
We will soar
Higher than birds
Seeing it all
For the first time
We'll finally fly

All it takes
Is the will to survive
And we will
Just wait
Yeah, this *****. God, it *****. It hurts so much and all we can do is wait and wait and wait. But we'll do it. We are going to survive and thrive and get out of this town and learn what it means to truly live life.

Have you ever been amazed,
when a gentle wave
from the sea
softly kisses your feet
and breaks
an unfinished day-dream?

By the time
you look down,
it has already receded
back to its ocean;
taking back
the healing tranquility
it had brought
with it.

You can neither
hold it back,
nor can you become
a part of the ocean;
if you wish to be
and to dream
anymore.

All you can do
is to wait
for another wave
to splash you
with the taste
of the sea.
