I think it's easier for people to feel sympathy for others when their ailments are tangible, physical. We've all felt aches and pains before. It's much harder to find sympathy when another person's sickness is trapped inside their mind. It makes it seem as if they have control over what is going on inside their heads; I can control my thoughts, why can't you?? But it isn't that way at all. It's not really the victim's mind speaking to them, it's the demons that reside in the dark corners of their thoughts, thieves that come to steal away happiness in the middle of the night. They can't control these demons, so they try to let them out by painting their skin red. Even though their emotions have now entered the realm of the physical, most people still don't understand. They don't understand how someone could hate themselves so much that they would run a blade over their own skin in an attempt to right their wrongs. They don't understand that in those moments, the demons are in control. And there's no telling what they will do. Many people cannot wrap their minds around a concept such as this, but I dare you to try. Tear down the walls of your sheltered little life and see if you can survive one night in her hell. I bet you wouldn't. The mind is the most powerful muscle in the body, why can't people understand that it's fated to take the biggest hit??
There's hope for you yet!! :)

You lie next to your pillows in bed and you have trouble sleeping the way the moon does when it’s phasing out. I can see it in your nutty eyes the fear that lingers from the nightmares you still have from that day he took you and did harm like raging fires on the hills of a dried out California.

Unlike anything before you linger in your corner
wondering if you’ll ever be okay,
if this tragedy is something that’ll prevent someone,
or something from loving  you.

It causes havoc in your heart
and I can hear it in your voice
as it shakes from your mind
replaying those burning moments
that have left third-degree marks on your skin.
His hands swept through the surface of your skin
as if you were some prize he won at a county fair.

You pop like a balloon and tears run down your face
you scream for help,
but nothing is heard
you feel alone,
no one believes you
because well,
you asked for it,
right?

Wrong

Your skin wasn’t asking to be touched by fire,
leaving scars that don’t fade by time itself,
Your body didn’t ask to be taken advantage of like dry grass in a drought.

so now you live in fear,

fear that you aren’t worth being loved,

fear that you have to live for the rest of life reliving those moments of torment

I am here to tell you even the deepest wounds can heal,

It just needs the tender love of someone with a steady hand to hold the pieces in place,
you are a walking miracle as your face is hit by the warm sunlight and your eyes melt like honey.

You are the hero in your story,
you don’t need to be saved by anyone
Most importantly

Don’t Forget to love yourself,
as I have learned to love even the darkest bits of universe.

I wish you'd stop whining

I really don't like that

And honestly no one cares

Don't you get it?

You're done for

And no one will save you

I really don't mind to hear you scream

It's funny

You're hilarious

To think that we actually cared

We're murderers

It's all we know

So say goodbye

So say anything

Go ahead and cry

No one will rescue you

So say goodnight

To the rest of your life

When you recollect
All you troubles
What do you do, is it all untrue?
Who do you even tell them to?

When someone's driven out the color
The laughter in their days,
I suppose you've chosen the best solution,
And that's to run away

I refuse to stand in the weight of your path
Comprehend your childish math
Could you be more specific,
About whose time you wish to waste?

So spout about your plans
The places you'll be seeing
It could matter less to me
When you have no moral being

I wish that we had exchanged stories
Opened up some long locked doors
But would I even see you?
Would you hide away some more?

I wish someday, you'd come around
Find the problems to address
I once was glad to call you a friend
But now you're a victim, at best.

****** is a wrecking ball,
It will hit anything on it's way.
After destroying the building, it does not take the bricks away.
The dust lifts up and surrounds the crowd, the buildings around and it gets out loud.
Even when the dust lays low,
It will take some time, but it will show.
The dust moves away by wind, by time,
But the bricks I pick them up every time.
