A lonely boy lays in his bed
Memories and thoughts drift through his head
Thoughts of a girl begin to snow
And fall through his mind, but she’ll never know
How much she means, maybe years from now
She’ll realize, looking back, and knowing how
He looked at her, but it’s too late
For them to try again, for even fate
Has shed its tears, for love unreaped
The go their way, Lachesis sleeps
The two live on, a pair unmatched
the boy never forgets, his heart unlatched
And through the years, the earth forgets
But the boy, now a man, will never let
The thought of her, his girl, his love
Ever fade, for they’ll meet above
A wise, old man sleeps in his bed
Memories and thoughts drift through his head
Thinking of his long lived life
And holding through his pain and strife
Was the memory of the girl so close
The beauty of the sea, the smell of a rose
He thinks of her, peaceful once more
He takes a breath, and gently lets go
Thought I'd write something special for Valentine's Day
Not your typical lovey dovey poem but it's meaningful
Thanks for reading- I hope you like it :)

To you who were first among the rest:
You gave me my first taste of soft, supple lips. You were also the one who opened my eyes to heartbreak. I loved you and my heart has yet to forget you.

To the one who came next, the one second in line:
You were a diamond in the rough, often overlooked.
We clashed like fire and water, creating steam that fueled our loved for one another. We would go back and forth, sometimes for hours on end, trying to convince ourselves we each loved the other more. We never did discover our answer, but can something infinite be bested?

To you thrice in line, most recent in time:
You hold galaxies in your eyes, you are endlessly creative and imaginative. You were the one who struggled with life, but who never let anyone else face life alone. You always knew just how to leave a smile upon my face. You were gentle and caring, but protective with love, I was never going anywhere expect by your side. We ruled OUR world, creating our perfect future together... I'm still realizing that perfect just isn't.

To you who shall come fourth in line, now or in future times:
I wish for it to be you who holds my hand in life and to be the one who holds me memory till the end of eternity.
This poem was inspired by the song "How did you love" by the band: Shinedown. It's about the past relationships I've had, as well as the next relationship that may be on the horizon.
thoughts from february fourteenth;

No one else alone, just me. Hence the word alone.
Only my dreams to send a rose to.

NO, no thank you. Love is not for me.
I'm perfectly fine being with myself.

How many ****** Valentine's poems will I
be forced to endure -
young love
lost love
ill-begotten love -
likened to that of a blooming red rose
thorns and all -
"Oh! my passion burns bright
like the flames in my *****!"

Much too cliche, I think
as I sit down to write my own
and sign it
"Yours Always".
This is a quick, unedited poem that I wrote at my desk. I'm bound to change it. Unfortunately, it sounds more bitter and less comedic than I intended.
The night dawns with it's coldness
And am afraid of the dark,
Will you come lay with me?
Next to me
On this,
The 14th,
Of the second month
I call you mine
Happy Valentine's

There was never a Valentine's Day
I have hated more than this one.
Because I think of you, my friend
You're not here to share with me.

I had dreams of us riding into the sunset,
Until you disappeared, went dark on me...
Every Valentine's Day I'm totally alone... yay!

My love is an ocean
Waves, the heartbeats

But don't come
If you'd only walk at the shore
Coz it's true essence lies
When you dive into the core

My love is the Rain
Raindrops, the happiness

But don't come
If you'd carry an umbrella
Coz dancing in the rain together
Is what makes 'la vita e bella'
A little write-up for Valentines..

We may have crossed the same paths and walked on the same parks. We may have eaten on the same restaurants or probably have used the same coffee cups

There might even a moment that we’re on the same place or maybe some million worlds apart. And probably I have sat behind you on a bus, but we don’t even know each other yet

And maybe, at some point of our lives, you were so happily in love with your partner. While I am crying over a spilled milk and my messed up life. And you, living a life full of laughter

To my future love, I wanted to tell you so many things. But for now, let us bide one’s time

Let us make the most of this moment, make mistakes and learn from it. Let us love and get hurt so by the time we meet, we are mature enough to handle our relationship

My future love, I am on my way. I may be a bit late, but please be patient. I waited for you for like a lifetime, promise you, I’ll be there on the right time

Until then, please think of me and I’ll dream of you. And one day, the stars will align to spell out our names. Our hearts will beat in synchrony and finally we will realize we have known each other all along

Vagabond of the heart
Always wandering, searching for
Love. Bless the heart of the
Exuberant lover whom thought.
No love to find here, nomad, no love.
To where you go, oh vagabond?
In the years I've known you, you've
Never found love.
Even then, you're still searching, old and weary.
