I thought once,
Of a time un-chastised
Forming a beautiful solution for you,

I've drifted since then,
Drifting is always seen as far,
Although I drift nearer,

My image is not like that of a lonely
Coyote,
Shadowing cold features
Of shattering dunces

Can you remember the poetry?
Or sing me a song?
Shes been hes gone we live

Eyes chanced upon a brown object
Nestled on  a crowd of multi-colored subjects
A bunch of dried and fresh leaves,
Small, thin and soft spikes of twigs
And I wondered.....how on earth
Did fibers and strips of polyester sack
Get included in this mix?

One would think it might fall, and be slung
But it stayed put, steady, where it hang
I was trying to figure it out:
A cylnder, at first thought...but I had my doubts
I realized, it was a crooked oblong
And, from its opening on one side, came the soft songs
A small part of which, was attached
To the thorny Bougainvillea branch.

Strange.....for it was small...yet steep
A human hand could never go deep
You wouldn't think it could contain anything
And yet...inside it, were resting
Three tiny eggs...warming
And eventually, would be hatching.

Soon, the Red Palm and Sweetsop trees
Buzzed with activities
Birds of many kinds, watched, upon the bay window eave,
High on the electric cables...they perched and wouldn't leave
To and fro.......high and low, they flew
The air was filled with bird sounds i never knew

Soon, too, soft tweeting was heard
Along with the louder chirping of the older birds
Then came that morning, when, a birdling,
Eagerly, tested its wings,
Then fell off its nest
Down to the roots of the Red Palm tree
Where it almost met its final rest...
Suddenly, came to the rescue, two big palms
That put the birdling back inside its home
And reinforced the nearly displaced nest...

Both birdling and nest, were put to a test....

Today, other birds fly around this once busy space
Where life's significant phases
Inevitably took place,
Lonely and deserted now,
For the birdlings are fully grown
They're  now flying on their own...

From my rocking chair, I could see
Among those entangled twigs
Hidden among a crowd of sprigs
Still ably rests
An abandoned strange nest
That once told the story
Of an Olive-backed sunbird....and its glory...

I ponder the question
Of why might he
Be trying to gain my friendship
Nothing in this world is free
I accept and I thank
Though I keep up my gaurd
I accept and I thank
Though not fooled by their charm
A wee bit suspicious about someone

Hey, wake up to this living dream,
Strangled minds of future hope.
We are all atoms of naive serenity,
Fused with an higher scream.
To explore the theatrics of nature,
To acknowledge the only truth,
As working hands and support shoulders,
The crimes of untutored youth.
We have got to change our road,
Exchange the tires,
We had to hold so long,
Now the pain inspires.
They tell there's millions to touch,
That there's hope in hats.
For craves my heart to ride away to the absolute,
Like the ghosts of a burning cigarette.
Did they tell what was missing?
The eyes to see, peace at our time.
Did the books see fit?
Or they screamed of literal garbage.
For we may be unpolished gold pebbles,
For we may seem to be amateurs,
But once we swim into the seas,
The impurities fades as the gold shades,
And we welcome our hands to the ***** feast.

Like an illusion with one purpose; to deduce a conclusion,
A fusion between delusion and logical institution...
Taken to replace confusion, to provide clarity as a substitution.
Taken to instill internal, sometimes radical revolution,
But the result, a structured, calm and alien solution...
Random distribution, constantly facing pollution, rarely restitution.
Fear of execution.

I am the test.

You've issued a challenge,
Having it return back to you.
Of a love long ago,
With shelled memories of past youth.
But you struggle and fight,
For the reaction you wish for.
Being told in the end,
You want him even more.
You test to break,
But your challenge is beginning to fail.
For he's in for the long haul,
Your escape growing small and stale.

Put 'Goodness' of a good man on test.
In moderate clime it might appear best.

Examine the 'Goodness' in extremes.
It will be different from what it seems.

Leave 'Goodness' under the desert sun.
To help 'Goodness' there should be none.

With magnifying glass check its sphere.
Cracks and fissures are sure to appear.

Now place 'Goodness' on mountaintop.
Keep it in position with the help of prop.

Leave it in Bone-chilling cold and depart.
Within days it will crumble and fall apart.
