Starry Aug 2019
On the dock
I feel a very cool
Breeze
I wish I brought a sweater
Better yet
A long slaved t-shirt
That sun is tricky.

I'm so alive
With your face
Next to mine
I see you
In dreams
Feel your breath
Against my cheek
You're just so green
Exploding
Beside me
And I'll never see
Anything besides
Those colours
Stained inside
The back of
My eyes
Replaying
A thousand times
While a hundred
Springs fade
Into summer
Everglades
And a hundred leaves
Tumble down
Around me
You're so green
I'd give
Anything
To watch you
Burst alive
Into bloom
Music makes my dreams come alive.
Maybe it's easy to wait
for the spring after winter,
day after night.
But for patience
We need love and faith.

I have started understanding
this reasons now.
Until I get it all I will paint hope
Just like the way he explains
Dark and light Of his waiting
In this World's
Microsecond of silence.
Poetry of love. It's his story.

Small shoots of new life poke up through the raw earth
The birds’ song can now be heard in the absence of the howling winter wind
Everything that froze and died and was lost through the long cold months
Has been mourned
And now it is time to begin again

Now it is time to let go and live
To plant new seeds of joy and hope
To enjoy the long hours of sunshine that have been so desperately missed
To remove the bulky layers of armour that are no longer necessary

It’s time for the world to wake
For every creature to shake off its snowy slumber
It’s time for every bitter, frost-bitten heart to heal
Such icy emotions cannot sustain their frozen grip in the warmth of the summer sun

It’s time for every tree to feel for its roots and find a foothold in the supporting soil
So it can propel itself towards the sky
And throw its arms up in surrender to its inevitable victory

And though the weather is wild,
I feel the winds of change blowing open the door to a new season

Leaves shed
as she leaves behind
Those worn old faces and troubled minds
to a distant land
Her brave heart is fuelled by freedom

I walk alone
over graves gold and red
Rustle and crunch! complain the dead
With a grimace,
I bid welcome to my favourite season

The northwest breeze
shares a smoke with me
As I solicit the shade of a leafless tree
The dust gathers
around my feet, around my life uneven

A golden sky
when the red sun sets
A cloud floats by that resembles her face
with the colours
that make Autumn, to me, so appealing
Fall is the season to fall out of love. C'mon little sparrow. Fly.
