Sailing the briny seas,
the winds taking us where they please.

A parrot on my shoulder,
"Pieces of eight," it repeats over and over.

If there is mutiny in the ranks,
aye matey, they will walk the plank.

Other ships we will plunder for gold
and any prisoner we will stick in the hold.

A treasure map we have found,
X marks the spot on the ground.

And once we have found the treasure chest,
we will sail off into the sunset.

[JIBRIL ABDULMALIK]
I cannot find any masterpiece
How then do I plan?
There are no shoulders on which to stand
Shoulders of any giant of great stance
How then do I view the remaining journey?
How do I understand?
Tell me, is there still hope for me?

[EDINO ABIGAEL]
You might feel like a pirate
whose masterpiece Is lost between waves and tides,
But, look In the mirror
Who you see Is the master's piece.
This Is the greatest conviction.
Those great giants you look up to,
Are now like Goliath,
Lying helpless down your feet,
Let this be the hope you seek.

[JIBRIL ABDULMALIK]
The path I seek does not seek me in return
The one I love never loved me — I was just taken for fun.
Should I think less of my so called friends or should I say much of them?
They only show up whenever I find a gem
Shouldn't I say less of my very own?
Whom I danced to his great plans — plans for me alone
Great plans for the tomorrow that is never known
Only to find he never had a plan, not even of his own
Tell me, is there still hope for me?

[EDINO ABIGAEL]
You are at a crossroad,
All path seems right.
But, right In you,
Is a Great compass
Leading away from doom.
Trace your steps one, two,
Deep within the bed of your shattered heart,
Sleeps the hope you seek!

Jackson sailed off into the sunset abandoning his child
his only daughter, Angel, untamed and wild

long black hair contrasts a wet white gown
miles adrift from the nearest town
embellished angst crawls her skin
heaven only knows where she's been
maudlin makeup smears her face in mascara
her father swindled in this masked era
into piracy planning to loot their *****
an honor in his eye, his civic duty

self banished into the hot springs and garden
her heart slowly begins to harden
the love she has lost can once again find her
before her vision stigmatizes to a blur
the image of her father brave and strong
the perception of a life that's never wrong
a paid mercenary sent to **** her faith in man
a benchmark set as high as she can

he hopes she knows she is not forgotten
that his spirit is not rotten
for it’s because of her he must leave
how could she be so naive
to think he didn't love her this entire time
abandoning her for a life of crime
false promises encouraged high hopes
until he's caught hanging from the gallows’ ropes

a crusader in thought, Jackson left his daughter on the shore
believing he’d return with a life worth plenty more
believing what he was wasn't enough
to perfectly protect his daughter, the diamond in the rough

If this world was a ship,
I don't want to be the captain.

I want to be the pirate.
Too much of the same.

he left me for the sea

and when he left, he took my heart
and never returned it to me

You tried to be a soul pirate

I saw you almost board the vessel of her mind

A plank of gypsy songs in tongues of men

pretending to be angels

and you crossed

cannons roaring

flags hoisted

wood splintering her side

my captain trembled

but grinned.

My eyes are dull
Darkness flows fast and
Steal my heart and
Fly away

Darkness flows fast and
They'll go avast again
Fly away
Just like the hawks

They'll go avast again
Tooting the horns
Just like the hawks
They've found their prey

Tooting the horns
Searching for love
They've found their prey
Bombs away

Tooting the horns
Steal my heart and
They've found their prey
My eyes are dull

Patches the pirate.

Meek on the outside.

A titan on the inside.

Bringing win percentages up,

more than Rag shots can.

Shaking up aggro,

seasoning it with salt.

A legendary,

striking paralysing fear.

2 years across 7 seas,

in ladder- and touney-decks.

“Hahaha,”Ben Brode chuckled,

“I’m in charge” soon come to an end.

I have a hole in my life where my love should be.
Every time I meet someone they take from me when they leave.

I’m beginning to become fragile.

Had I known love would be this violent,
I never would’ve allowed my vessel to enter this war.
Too much has been lost building memories with the enemy and there is no way to return from the heartbreak of defeat.

I’m not weak, just broken.
My sails are tattered and weary,
the cannon in my chest was once able to fire at will but now its battered condition has rendered it almost useless because it’s so heavily guarded.

The darkness that surrounds my heart is a protector of sorts,
it’s a heavy blanket of fog that keeps me hidden from the sadness in the world. It’s a reminder of the blood that was shed when I went to battle with her;
it’s the cover I need to rebuild the hull and set sail to reclaim the depths of the oceans that belong to me.

I Captain this ship and I will not be overthrown by the hands of women and I will not be defeated by those who betrayed me!
I refuse to drown in sorrow,
searching for treasures and trinkets that can only be found on a map that no man can read.

I’ve taken heavy fire but I will not surrender.
My ears will not burn by the cry of a siren’s song.

I was sentenced to a life of moving through galaxies of resentment,
cursed to bear the punishment for crimes committed by those who came before me.

I will not be punished for another man’s sin.
I will no longer give in to temptations set in the figure of a dishonorable woman.
Evils will no longer forsake me.
I shall never falter.
