We humans have messed around
With Mother Nature and her eco-system
For years and years
Decades and decades
Centuries and centuries
Felling gazillions of trees
Turning forests into concrete jungles
Filling ponds, lakes, rivers and seas
With tons and tons of toxic waste
Releasing enough carbon monoxide into the air
To wreck the entire troposphere
The list of sins against Nature goes on and on
With no end in sight
Given all this, who are we to complain
When Mother Nature has had enough
And unleashes her fury on us
Through earthquakes and tsunamis
Avalanches and volcanoes
Hurricanes and tornadoes
Floods and droughts
And so on
Remember, Mother Nature has blessed us
With oodles of riches
In the form of plants and trees
Mountains and forests
Ponds, lakes, rivers, seas and oceans
And last but not the least, oxygen!
It is time we show her some gratitude
And more importantly, respect and compassion
And stop messing around with the eco-system
Remember the famous old saying
Live and let live
It doesn't mean infrastructure shouldn't be developed
We can build roads
We can build a railway network
We can build houses
We can build schools and colleges
We can build hospitals
We can build libraries
However, as my grandfather used to say
There is a limit to everything
And we should also plant trees
Build gardens and parks
Switch to renewable sources of energy
And cut down severely on emissions
A balance should be maintained
After all, messing around with Mother Nature
Will only bring about our own downfall
There have been enough natural disasters
Caused by human negligence
Let's not add to the list
Which is already longer than the river Nile!
Self-explanatory!!

Its beams pull at the heart strings, each a different noise.
No ray on a futile descent.
All with purpose and poise.
Each stream of light reinvents,
the palette of colors our earth bares.
Truly nothing compares.
Swoo Sep 2021
She used to be celebrated. Thru water splashes, river streams and water fountains.  As the mountains changed to their greeneries. A scenery that always compels true children of the planet to want to run across it's open fields. What happened to her Joy's ?Nothing really. There's even rumours about her even forgetting her origin's. Truth is thru climate change, She also evolved way passed the comfort norms of the rest of the human species. As the rest of the nature side still rejoices while the plants, trees, flowers still flourish. With everything else still sticking to their traditions she's still celebrated. Spring - Swoo

Water longed and gasped at the sunset colors above her
lapping them up in her mists and rolling waves
she took these tumbling breaths to exhale the palette across the bare sands, persuading them over and over again through time
till they too tumbled as grains in the radiant slurry

"There now, Earth and Sky. This is how we are One."

You say life is a disaster
I tell you not
Have you watched the sun rise up?
Have you seen the flowers at early dawn;
The way the face of the sun is seen glowing in the dew drop.
Take a moment to see life is the world around you.
You say life is a disaster
I tell you not
Have you smelt the earth at the birth of rain?
Have you let the wind give you a loving embrace;
As the sweet smell lingers around and calms every soul it touches.
Stop whatever you are doing to see life is the world around you.
You say life is a disaster
I tell you not
Have you seen the moon kiss the night sky
And how it brings every hidden star alive;
The way it lights up the sky and illuminates the beauty of the dark night.
Take a moment for yourself  and see that life is the world around you.
You say life is a disaster
I tell you not
Have you seen the colours on the butterfly?
Have you watched a tiger prancing by?
They both are different in size but yet so majestic in their own way.

Take a moment
Take your time
Take note of what’s passing by.
You say life is a disaster
I tell you
To feel the wind, it is waiting to embrace you.
Admire the beauty in nature when the sun is born.
Take a deep breath of the earth and watch it as it moves.
Use your sense,
Use them all
And let your restless soul calm down.
You say life is a disaster
I tell you not
Life is You and everything around you.
There is beauty in every little being;
Even if life is a disaster

Even you're seems a fiery giant,
I couldn't resist myself to come near you.
Even your precence just scorching during summer,
But still your beauty capture my heart everyday.

Yesterday, I look for something beautiful,
I look for something magical and enchanting.
But when my eyes sees you standing in the corner,
The feeling of love arise in my body.

Your spectacular color is magnificent,
You provides welcome shade in a warm climate.
Your red stems of the bloom clusters command attention,
By that, You attract me more and more.

Summer season will ended too soon,
I'll surely miss, your famous scarlet petals.
I'll surely miss to hangout with you,
I promise to wait for your bloomming season again.

A walk through the
Gardens by the Bay
And the super tree Grove skyway
All by my own
I felt it was enough for me
To take it all by my own
Such beauty and escasty
To find the love in nature
Is what life had given me
A gift of a new place
A garden which is never
Enough to visit one more time
The winds kissing me all across
Keeping no barrier in a foreign land!

A place which still
makes me happy
when I visualize back and forth.
The cool breezes and the greenary with the hint of flowers
Unique in it's own way
No comparison
Yet beautiful love
All throughout :)
Recently visited Gardens by the Bay in Singapore made me understand the power of nature all over again!

Sitting under a tall, rigid pinetree
Staring at God's everlasting piece of art
Brings euphoria to a restless and broken heart.
