You
At times, she is selfish, sometimes insecure and impatient. She has her flaws and a hint of sadness in her eyes, but she hides it well behind a smile that almost appears natural. She’s delicate but tough. Mostly tough on herself. The mistakes in which she’s made often eat away at her conscience. She’s honest, but there are things she keeps to herself, understanding that not everyone deserves to unlock her secret door. There is madness on her mind, chaos in her heart, but there’s this quiet sense of hope that still lives within her soul. She isn’t perfect but she’s remarkable. She is you.
Not much of a poem, but more something of a rant about someone I recently met.

As naked as the sea
I am free being me
naturally

Wind on my skin
Like waves on a ocean
It feels so good to me

Feels quite ****
actually ..
earthy & warm

If , I get caught
Oh it's just the witch in me
That's what I'll say
cause it true honestly

Spirits ready to play
explore a little more

walk and dance
like a fish in water
swims and skims

I will enjoy it
then like a tide
goes away at night

I shall go in and
dress once again

Its a natural phenomenon,
Even in relationships,
People are always changing,
Either "growing with" or "growing apart"
But changing and "growing with" someone is such a beautiful thing
...provided it is natural.

I have these imperfections
That I try to cover up
But recently I’ve ditched the concealers
For a more natural and tired look
And to my surprise
I have never been called beautiful
More times in my life
The warming of my heart
Stemming from the compliments
Adds a glow to my cheeks
That not even the most expensive of highlighters could provide
The wide smile across my lips
Creates a perfect shade of lipstick
That you wouldn’t find at the Mac store
The sincerity heard from strangers
Creates a sparkle in my eyes
Hence eyeshadow is no longer needed
People point out the allure
Where I myself see flaws
And instead of unattractive
I have never felt more beautiful

"I  saw you standing there in the store, aisle thirteen.
Being indecisive about what cereal you wanted.
Your hair was down, and draped over your shoulders.
You wore that faded, grey t-shirt you got from a thrift store.
Your face was untouched by makeup.
You looked like heaven."
simplicity is beautiful. take the time to notice the beauty of your significant other. Even if they are doing simple things.

red, orange, yellow, falling.
trees erupt in vibrant pirouettes,
like a geisha dancing.
the great festival's opening ceremony
begins.
we worship the trees,
as they strip through the season.
as winter awakens,
i am reminded of my own vibrant colors.
how they will fall like the trees,
both of us lain bare in december.
