Everything used to be black and white to me,
But now everything is different,
She is my prism,
She lures the colours to the world,
Even if to me there are none,
Every graceful movement: a waltz
Every shy word: a poem
Every onyx hair: a masterpiece,

And all of these things,
Distract me from my pain,
But the worst thing is,
That distraction, like all things, is temporary,
So when she leaves me,
I must go back to my black and white world,
Where the pain comes back,
The sadness comes back,
And the despair comes back,
Where I await my prism's return.

In a world painted black and white,
my vision blends into a shade of gray.
The colors swirl in a clockwise motion,
as if rejecting the mixture of pigments.

Slowly, they fuse into a solid gray tincture.
It is a beautiful color.
The right amount of black and white still evident,
yet the trait to be a distinctive color remains.

In a world painted black and white,
we are opted to pick a side.
Two completely different beliefs,
standing upon their own ethical points.

I am caught in between and seek answers.
We ask and wonder where we belong.
But for now, I will dwell in the blotches of gray
in the divisions of monochrome.
belonging and longing to belong.

Black & white is a way to talk, a way to have conversation in, a world to travel in, a thesis to contemplate in, a kiss to taste so rare, an art too hard for a description, a language spoken by everyone in their own way.

Patterned patents of black and white,
Stripes in vertical lines, swirls encircled
One point view and paths within a maze
Weary of single sided mirrored reality?

Look through my eyes, see elongated pupil
Let me be your mirror of a surreal reality
Where birds squint and fleet, feel and squeeze
Catch the breath and inhale the beauty

See the colored landscape of the universe
Walk on the aisles lighted with magnificence
Float in intermittent dimensional zones
Touch the peace within the chaotic world

For there was a time my mind and logic raced
Crazed with fear and delusional love cages
Fade in the wonder, bounce to enlightment
Pounce to freedom, be the wave of the essence
See the beauty in all, feel the love in everything. Thats freedom and it's magnificent. It's superb for I have felt, smelt, seen and touched it's essence.
I see trees on cars
but they are made black
and the sky silver.
Their shape curves,
hugging the metal frame
yet they
slip
away
at a single movement.

Am i just deluding myself?
Every touch, every moment we spent,
Was it all just a lie?
I hate you for doing this to me,
This feeling of love
It just won't go away,
No matter how many times i tried
It always finds its way back.
I hate this emotion
And i hate you for this,
But i always end up loving you.
Every mistake and every imperfection,
It all flies away when i look into your eyes.
Those eyes that keep me from drowning
From all the things that are weighing me down.
You were my light,
My home,
My god,
You were everything to me.
You painted colors to my monochrome world,
Opening my eyes to see the beauty within.
But it all fell apart when you left me alone,
Stranded in this world of black and white.
I will always hate you,
But i will never stop loving you.
Idk why but i just feel like writing about love...

Along rivers of stone, making pictures in the sun
Of giant spider webs, wreathing the skies
Of iron snakes, braiding the lands
Of invisible raven exhaust, intimidating
With every breath, I languish
I yearn for home, away from home

A path of roses, resistance, though trampled
It seems like home is but a vision
Dreaming of a place, soon i’ll be free of this prison
I want to look beyond the pavement
I wrote some notes in the margins, explaining it
Inescapable, this room lacking windows

Children contaminated
The black air holds them in it’s grasp
Robbed of their youth
Long live that sentiment
