River's clipped wings rest
on the riverside.
Winter plucks its wavy strings:
Time's not going anywhere.

My thoughts of you
keep on increasingly using
my memory resources.
Any time now until my dreams
crash under the load.

On the fog

The same way that
silence has a voice
your hands have a song.
That tactile melody
will find me first.

floating away-

flotsam and debris
of what could have been
if you had been mine,
Water Lily
I want to scoop up and hug
all sad and broken souls
hold them, wiping tears
together, floating away

Whenever you fall
And someone
Takes you by the hand

Isn't that nature's way
Of collecting the crumbs
And cleaning the mess?
do birds sing at night?
I wonder-
as I listen to the cackle
of birds in flight
sunny afternoons
a bar stool,
music
friendship in one.
Pride's grin starts endless friendships,
with Bitterness, Jealousy and Envy...
When he grins, and waves, avert his green eyes!
Inspired by a prompt I got on Twitter. @Blackheat22
