Carry only a backpack into the future’s embrace,
Leave behind the luggage of yesterday’s trace.
It costs dearly to drag what’s past,
Travel light, for freedom holds fast.
Why do we insist to bring those heavy bags everywhere we go? Do we really need all that stuff where we’re heading?
I am the child of the East,
Citizen of no mans land.
I don’t fit in the borders
I have no map in my hands.
I let my heart be my compass,
My guide is the endless sky.
What is to be is what comes
Enough for me is my now.
Don’t preach me, believe you not,
Don’t see colors, don’t know words,
My heart lays in the unseen,
And stories no one heard.
I look at you with no rules
Coz being human is to love,
To be humane is to know
There are plots you never told,
There is a wound you never showed.
Preach you not, I am no better,
I am a passerby in time
Taking chances, writing letters
Of my journey and hidden crimes.
Tell me not I don’t belong,
I know it already too well.
If my trip is to be long
I have a tale I wanna tell.
I don’t belong but I walk my walk,
I don’t need rug to talk to God.
The Earth is my prayer mat,
And the whole world is my mosque.

Dear Bully,
How come life is harder for trans people then cis people?
Now, I’m not complaining, but why?
Is it cause’ we aren't a ‘true man’ or not a ‘real girl’?
Who’s to say what is real or not?
Who made you the boss of my identity?
How come 50 trans and gender nonconforming people were killed in 2021 alone?
How come 41% of the transgender population has attempted suicide, when only 2% of the world population has attempted suicide.
How come when a trans person shoots someone the title of the article is “Transgender person shot someone,”
but if if a cis, white man shoots someone the title is just “another shooting,” as if it’s normal
How come the pledge of allegiance says ‘justice for all’ when there really isn’t
justice for all?
How come in 2023 there have been 417 new plans for laws and bans against lgbtqia people?
In 2022 there were only 180
Now, trust me, I am not saying 180 is any better.
But,
How come almost 400 new laws have been introduced ever since a transgender person killed 6 people.
So, then
How come we haven't made 5 million laws against cis white men?
How come when I meet someone new they ask me who I am, and I say i play basketball, and I’m transgender.
All they can focus on is how I was born
How come when a cis man meets someone and they say they're into basketball the same person would say, oh who's your favorite player?
How come people believe that it's their business where I go to the bathroom?
Or how I was born?
THAT IS NOT YOUR BUSINESS
Dear Bully,
IT is not my fault that I'm trans, so then why do you hurt me?
Why hurt anyone at all?
I lost my best friend, one of the most supportive people cause I had to leave my school
I HAD to leave. I didn’t have a choice.
Why would I stay if I would've just gotten beaten up even more than I already had.
Now, my best friend refuses to talk to me?
Why is that?
Because of you,bully.
And because of all the homophobic, transphobic, idiots out there.
I’m not saying I'm mad at you.
It's not like a middle schooler can choose to be transphobic.
I’m mad at the person who told you to be transphobic,
the person who told that person to be transphobic.
Just ask yourself;
Why?
Why hurt others
If you don’t need to?

Friends.
They're weird,
they help you,
they hurt you,
they love you.
My two friends. They call me strong.
I like it.
They call me tough.
I like it.
They say I have high pain tolerance.
I like it…? No, ***** that.
When they say that, all it brings back is the years where I was beat every day.
They mean well.
But it haunts me,
the fact that I have a high pain tolerance but I grew it.
I didn't have it naturally.
I grew it. Because I was beaten to the point where
I
COULDN'T
FEEL
ANYMORE.
That's what happens.
You just get beat enough to the point where you don't feel it anymore.
This can’t happen anymore.
We need to end it.
This can't happen anymore.
February 14th 2025,
The yearly anniversary of he who failed to fall,
To the crushing hand of prosecution.
The day, a symbol of love,
Congratulations Mr. Douglass,
That's what we got.
Happy birthday to a spirit of liberty,
And cheers to equal freedoms.
Fredrick Douglass was one of the most important men to ever grace America. His words and actions were essential to the battle for black equality. But not only did he strive to make this world a better place, he wrote too. My favorite poem by him is "Liberty."
Come and awaken from slumber and let the breeze kissed leaves speak,
In ancient languages, whispers of ages of bygone days,
Hear the story of the natural realm, fantasy tales unfold,
Greet the new day as the first to tread upon its path.

Come, to the fields of paradise, it awaits the next one frolicking,
Untouched beaches and ocean waters remain unexplored,
Creatures of wonder and beauty dwell in distant lands,
The time has come, embrace the unknown fall with bravery.

Come and join me now, savor the wine of life, toast and cheer,
Rush towards the unknown, guided by blind faith,
Create your own destiny until the end of time,
Take flight with me and soar above the clouds, touch the sky,

Come, conquer darkness with reckless abandon,
Let it draw strength from our unknown roads,
Meet me where land meets sea, where the tide conveys its secret knowledge,
The answer to life's mysteries lies in fleeting moments, be fearless.

Come, where curious creatures reside under the canopy in rest,
Etched in the pages of a lover's gaze, offer the crimson rose,
Return to the time of youth, echo in laughter once again,
Run and dance without care, build a house in a tree.

Come to a home forged through bonds of friendship, grace, and peace,
Write a melody that only we can truly understand,
A song in tune with the spirit of rebirth and the enlightened,
Live, taste and see that it is good, now is the time, experience your worth.

Did Eve truly fall to temptation?
Or was Adam the source of manipulation?
Tilting the tale, shifting the blame,
A narrative forged to shield his name.

Was it Adam who conjured the snake?
A plot to see Eve’s freedom break?
Bound to home, she is confined,
A life of serving cruelly designed.

She serves him meals, her dreams erased,
She is subdued, her purpose displaced.
Her light dimmed, her laughter restrained,
A life once hers, now cruelly chained.

Was there truly a serpent’s hiss?
Or Adam’s scheme beneath all this?
Will he repent, will truth ever prevail,
Or will his story forever be under a dark veil?

Will Eve ever find her own way,
Or live in Adam’s shadow, day by day?
Confined is her will, but not her desires.
With enough will, she will burn bright like fire.
She is a phoenix, born from its ashes
She will definitely be free from Adam’s latches.

He voice will be heard, her truth will be shared
She will re-write history, her presence declared
She will have it all that she had left
But will her soul still feel bereft?
