You look tasty in every shade,
So divine in reds,
So savory in blacks.

A sweet treat,
I love you,
In every little fantasy.
Our anniversary was yesterday <3
a poet Mar 5
nothing makes your head swell more than this statement
"my brother, keep the change"
just like that, you are married to 11 wives
6 of them kneeling with pounded yam and spice
the remaining 5 singing lullabies as 18 cry
with you sitting on a chair, made of bones of elephant thighs.

you feel like if you stood, up on the highest peak
you would see the entire world, high lands and the farthest seas
and when your mouth opens, words coming out to speak
like the grains of sand, the people would pour out to listen.

So here I am, my head, as big as a microwave
walking to my hostel.
for now I feel like a king
but by the end of the month, I'm sure
I would wish I didn't speak.

If I had a wish, it would be
to walk the moon or hold the stars,
to venture Mercury or Mars.

If I had a wish, it would be
to wander across the ocean
and sail the seven seas.

If I had a wish, it would be
to overcome my fears
and conquer all my dreams.

And if I had a wish,
from a genie or a shooting star,

I reach out for it,
oh,
so
far.

We live in a time far beyond parody
"One nation, under god..." heresy
Belief with an astrix *hypocrisy
Brain rot the byproduct of conspiracy
Write a holy book to weaponize theocracy
Cherry picking for convenience should be piracy
Do as I say not as I do type diplomacy
A sketchy love thy neighbor as thy self theory
"Except for that guy a different shade from me" apparently
I'm just the mirror being held for all to see
If this raises questions bring out up to "the almighty"
If there is a creator, we are it's atrocity
A dark comedy
A beautiful tragedy

Lemon-flavored poppy-seeded pearls crunch
Between the iridescent glint of my smile
As river beds are littered with glittering
Scales of a tumbling rich white sneeth.
Snollywaggs petter through the trempint forest
Hanging off of each piece of foliage
Are glossy globs of translucent orange marmalade
Going mitter mitter by the Trillow tree
Is the hollow ringing of an intrinsic song

Produced by the withering of an Old God
Laughter trickles into the billowing air as humble giants
Hunt for peace about the cherry orchard grove
Woven mittens craft themselves onto wriggling fingers, poking in and out
Of unintentional holes found among its wearer’s
***** memories seeping out of the cracks
Flowing with a sticky flag stripped with dreams
Lingering in the shadows and meshing through

The confetti-covered walls. Hushing the clorgals
Raining down through the forest’s tangles
Is a weary process’s manifestation into a string of lights.
Black holes **** in another wonder
Towards the Nymph’s saddened stories
Whispered as a second century passes
Across the timpited marks along their skin
And into their mind that flies
Only to start the journey home again for the first time.

Hush little child, do not cry
I will sing you a lullaby
About hidden riches
Wizards & witches
Who cast a good or evil spells
Wish granting wells
Of a brave, courageous knight
For his love he will fight
The princes & princesses pure bliss
When finally they share a true loves kiss
There is one place where it makes no sense
But be careful it can get quite intense
Fairies play amongst the flowers
Giving them magical fairy dust showers
Dragons that fly really high
You can ride them & touch the sky
They are friendly if shown respect
It’s where everything is enchantingly perfect
Hush little child, do not weep
Now is the time for you to sleep
I will tell you a tale
Of pirates who sail
Searching for buried treasure
All to spend at their leisure
Where all creatures love to talk
And the paths are gold everywhere you walk
Will-o-wisps guide the way
At sunset the night creatures come out to play
Mermaids frolic upon the rocks in the ocean
You can be anything you want with a simple potion
Unicorns run around in the woods
Merchants try to sell mysterious goods
Nymphs dance down by the river
To pass the bridge you have to pay the trolls silver
Leprechauns guard their *** of gold
This enchanting place is for the young & old
Where dinosaurs still roam
And you wake up safe at home
Hush child, as I tuck you in tight
Know that I love you & goodnight.

Dedicated To My Nephew.

Sharp and seductive your words linger in my brian
Soft kisses, a wandering tongue, twinging bites
Your teeth on my skin and your hands on my waist
The pull of your sweet subtle venom compels me
I am yours to take piece by piece under your spell
Forever isn’t needed I merely want you in the present
Sanguine intoxication by the fantasy of what could be
Should forever take us both idyllically holding one another
Staring into locked eyes the glint of possibly beckons
Reality states I am merely another fledgling
Admirer bowing at your feet daring to stand up
I am a mirror and so are you, reflecting echos
Of what each of us thinks the other missed
