Fewer than none, less than a void
I be seedless as grocery store grapes.
Empty as the grave I have yet to be buried in.
I want
I need
I burn
I am
not done.
Not yet...
I should throw it all away
every scrap that is left
every parcel and shred of evidence
of memory
that is my enemy now.
Too close to call it a tie,
I've been foreclosed upon.
That's it, pack it up.
They're useless now
just let them die.
A war with the self is always worth-while to be waged

if
if you were a true friend you wouldn't even let me stand alone

if you were my true love you wouldn't even let me stand alone

if i meant so much to you guys,

you shouldn't have let this happened
it's your loss, anyway

When the demons surface the body
and the souls are buried somewhere deep.
The full moon appears from between the clouds
and every friend looks like an enemy.

The blood changes it's color to black,
making the hearts turn cold as stone.
You don't remain human anymore,
as the worst of your monsters lose control.

In a blink of an eye, there's a pool of blood
and the faces become unrecognizable.
O' Humans! Today I ask you a question,
*Who said that you could be the Most Powerful?

You look at me and you see an enemy.

I look at you and I see a man who needs enlightenment
But one too afraid of his god to look for it.

Your hate could be the death of me for my compassion cannot hope to compete with a god.

Yet I am here
If you need a friend.
Where is your god?
I am becoming increasingly disenchanted by the major world religions

I did good by the lots of you
You might deny this, even when it's true
I went down to raise you up
Fought against odds, to reach the top
Though the road was rough, we didn't stop

I gave more than I collect
Not a friend did I ever neglect
I tried my best to please them
But you see, that was a problem
Not every soul deserves a helping hand
Not every soul helps a friend drowning in quick sand
I've given my last
I'm leaving the past
And might you deny this, even when it's true
I know I did good by the lots of you
