I am passion, fire and willpower personified. The tongue inside my mouth try to swallow words that don’t agree with my brain. It fails.

They are calmness, earth, and control personified. Able to trust their brain and heart, they know when to take shelter. When the fire gets too hot.

They thought they had me figured out. That they were my opposite and the perfect element to balance me out without smothering me like water or adding fuel like air.

I always found a way to escape

Vibrant greens dazzle
like Aventurine
to remind me
opportunities await
outside in the air
love, kindness, pain wind
all call my name
in the brush petals sway
side to side
I am carried away
into the bright
white light

I see Heaven in the clouds
its entry revealed
in the way light
reflects with the sun

by campfire light
she dances
spinning myriads of circles
an elegant black swan
spirals fall from her tilted head
moonlight reflected in her eyes
she is Gemini defined
twins colliding
granite and whisper-soft
fragile delicate narrow frame
taunt muscles over bone
outstretched hands in the atmosphere
earth
the soles of her feet
wind
the power of her voice
air
the grace in which she moves
fire
her skin ablaze
daughter of the elements
living freedom

Sunlight
reflects
on
the river
vibrating
back
and forth
my eyes
follow
as
best
they can

The sun will shine
tomorrow anew
Through green grass
so tall, as mountains
The rays of light appear like
rain water
dropped fresh from the vine
Diamonds forming reflections
of an entire world
in one small glisten

I see the leaves     waving
at me  

I feel the sun's warmth    giving me a   kiss

I take a drink
                           from the hydrating wind
