I’ve had nothing, but I have it all
The best part about being down was nowhere else to fall

I’ve spent my life building a capacity for chaos
Rescuing, saving, surviving, but mostly minimizing loss

As I approach 40, my mid and half lives loom to turn the page
My confidence shrouded in self doubt is somehow still in a cage

I have more blessings than I can count yet sometimes still sad
Mostly with the undone or for the childhood I never had

The love of my life is true and all knowing
I feel warm and grateful yet baggage I’m still towing

As much as I have it together, there’s so much work to do
On the inside, the dark places starting with self-love
....a challenge anew
Turning 40

When I was down, You lifted me up.
When I errored , You forgave.
When I was sick, You received me in your arms.
When I was lonely, You reminded me, "I am always with you."
When my broken heart despaired, You healed me with your Love.
When I did all that I could and wanted to quit, You carried me.
Lifting me securely into your arms.
When I learned to see you
I found you in everyone's eyes.

Divine Love, I love you.
Within my heart of hearts,
As one Love,  never ever will we part.
Oh my beautiful Divine Love
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
The beauty a relationship with an understanding of Divine Love as this love teaches, supports and heals a life.
Perfectly clear !
Once you have reached the top
On a beautiful day
Summit
But think of the view at the
Slippery turns,
Is always fraught with steep twists-
The uphill climb to success.

(Now read from the bottom up :)
They say great men are forged in flames
so give me fire
give me a raging inferno
give me anything but these
tantalising embers
and smoking coals.
I want to burn.
I want to burn.
I am a sailor
In an ocean of dreams
Where all our fantasies
And desires begins

Don't be afraid
It will never fade
A compilation of dreams
Are kept and made

Chase your dreams
If you believe its worthy
Don't let it slip away
If you think you are ready

I also have a dream
It is poetic and bright
That is why I am not afraid
To hold on tight

I had fought the challenges
And get up whenever I fall
Because our dreams are treasures

The weight of love is tremendous;
heavy like gold,
worn like manacles,
bourne by those
with or without it
The tragedy of love is catastrophic;
deeply rooted,
never gentle,
comes and goes
as it pleases
The world of love is pure savagery;
battles raging,
without survivors,
everyone is
love's refugee
The weight of love is tremendous;
Yet still a burden I wish to bear
Everyone thinks this poem is so sad but it's designed as an imagery monologue to remind us that love is something we need in our lives and will always always always have positive and negative implications and effects on our lives.  Hope you enjoy it!
