I remember looking up.
perplexed by the vast universe,
in the night sky.

Now i look up,
which instagram filter
should i try?

Slowing down the hour,
white widow, frosted pieces of ice.
thought provoking power,
that cheese, got us like mice.

There's a little incongruency,  
between us & this planet.
It doesn't take a brain to see,
the effects of our greedy habit.

No worries, no qualms.
We'll just pillage & meddle

Facebook, snapchat
the world use to be huge,
now it's tiny & flat.

we smoke thick. we
tweet slick. we young
fools. we break rules.

we live free. we
climb trees. we pack
bowls. we old souls.

we roll face. we
stomp bass. we up
late. we love straight.

all these strains,

for the greedy, wealth is another high score.
the number doesn't matter,
