Dusty night skies
   With a white embrace
      Pollinate my senses
        To relive it over again
      Amongst the stars
    And Numb to the taste  
A routine of desperation
To reach a euphoric state

Many don't see the sadness behind my eyes
The troubled soul that struggles with daily
Demons that antagonize my hope
Making it difficult to push through to the end of my short lived life
Burying me with the roses of my intentions to live a better life

Loving what we had makes me sick
Thoughts of happiness are glued to my pain
For behind every memory is chained misery
That drags me down and
Sets my  mind to decay

Live a life to recognize your true self
Fight this feeling that’s killing you  
Cold and blind in darkness
You knew the light was the key to the truth
The answer inside hidden from yourself
Till you saw with a clear view
