Rhianecdote
Ever feel haunted
by your future?
Cause I do.
Haunted by something
that has no right to a ghost
as it's not been given
LIFE or DEATH yet.
I could stay here..forever
Reading all your poems
Digging deep into humanity
Knowing pieces of human heart
Of pain
Joy
Sorrow
Anger
Desires
Love
I love to write
But I also love to read
Letting words fill the deep longings of my heart
Thanks to all poets who live real lives.
As sad as I am
I need to keep my head high
It is hope I need

Absent father, suffer mother
missing hand that held the other
breath of life, given to smother
the future of sister and brother
Today, I forgot to remember you.
For once, I didn't give you a thought.
I was able to get through my whole shift,
Ignoring the pain your abcense has brought.

Today, I forgot to remember the feeling,
Of being held safely in your embrace.
And for once on my drive home,
I didn't slow down near your old place.

Today I forgot to remember to call,
To hear your voicemail play.
I'll never again hear you greet me "Hey Sugar"
Or tell me "Have a blessed day".

Today I remembered to accept,
That you have left and passed on.
And though I know I will see you again,
I wish every day, that you weren't gone.
Dedicated to my Uncle Walter. I never had to doubt you loved me. You were my Uncle, my Grandpa, and the one who could always make me smile. Miss you forever. Rest in Peace.

"i love you"
doesn't mean a ******* thing, if you spit it down the throat of 20 different girls one night, then get home and plant yourself beside me
"i love you"
i can smell the betrayal on your shirt and taste the **** in your mouth
you ain't nobodys angel

You open
the
fortune cookie
and
there is
nothing
inside
At a lowest lowest time this actually happened, proving once again there is no fiction greater than truth
With a voice as grainy as sand,
I was told by many a man
That love was a curse,
A soft Gypsy hand stroke on the cheek
Endured by the lonely
And accepted by fools.
