Sometimes I wish
To fall in love
Only to hold
Another mistake
Against myself

Cherie
An Old Fashioned Break Up

When love's last words are spoken…. Cherie.
When tender hearts are broken…. Cherie.
Now our dream of love  is far away
Now lost in the mist of yesterday.
When love's last kiss has faded …..Cherie
When loving hearts are jaded ….Cherie
Once love blossomed
with the bright moon
Now it  plays  a sad tune for me.
Now my heart is broken …..Cherie
when love's last words are spoken…. Cherie
when love's last words are spoken…. Cherie*

Based upon a beautiful Melody written in 1934
LOVE'S LAST WORD IS SPOKEN [CHERIE]
Cesare A Bixio (m) Bruce Sievier (l) 1934
Now that's the way to say goodbye

Clock is ticking.
Midnight texting.
Could be relaxing.
Words are flowing.
Mind is showing.
Thoughts keep going.
Time for sleeping.
I say good night.
And sweet dreaming.
All About Us

When You said to me
You wanted to be happy
I always made you laugh.

When you said to me
You felt so sad
I always gave my shoulder
for you to cry on.

When you said to me.
I am so cold
I covered you inside my coat
And hugged you
Sharing my warmth.

When you said to me
I need to feel close to you
I always rested your head
upon my chest so you could
feel my heartbeat.

When I said to you
I needed to feel
You kissed my lips.

When I said to you
I needed beautiful dreams
You gently kissed my eyelids

When I said to you
I need to make love.
You took me
to your bed.

When I said to you
I want to marry you
You slipped my ring
upon your finger.

When we both said
we wanted
a lifetime together
filled with love
a happy home
and children.
We gave it to
each other.
All My Love Sweetheart
Jude
Morning, a glass door, flashes
Gold names off the new city,
Whose white shelves and domes travel
The slow sky all day.
I land to stay here;
And the windows flock open
And the curtains fly out like doves
And a past dries in a wind.

Now let me lie down, under
A wide-branched indifference,
Shovel-faces like pennies
Down the back of the mind,
Find voices coined to
An argot of motor-horns,
And let the cluttered-up houses
Keep their thick lives to themselves.

For this ignorance of me
Seems a kind of innocence.
Fast enough I shall wound it:
Let me breathe till then
Its milk-aired Eden,
Till my own life impound it-
Slow-falling; grey-veil-hung; a theft,
A style of dying only.
Solace comes down from the sky;
A calmly chaotic cascade,
With scattered whispers & sighs.
A delightful dance displayed.

The ground becomes satin sand,
The trees adorn in white gowns,
A peaceful hush wraps the land
To harmonize the night sounds.

"It is bleak, too cold and chilling!"
Some complain with awful groan;
But, see, that's the standard way of living
When you've spent your years alone.

Silence floods your position,
As you evade the mental cuffs
That try to blur your vision
Like the blitz of falling fluffs.

The world is calm, safe in harness.
Crystals kiss me as in love,
Melt when they absorb the warmness
That this world could not remove.

In this world falls are painless;
Frolic freely for forever
In beauty painted paintless.
Thrills triumph there together.
