Would the World hold on

when in subconsciousness

of every homini haunts

the unforgiven horrors:

the mass destruction,

abolition, slaughter,

genocide, slavery

wages, sweat, and treason.

Please, unnamed power,
send me on another planet.
I want to resign. I want to resign.

It can be cold
Ice cold.
Like snow.
So its hard not to trust the warmth
That some handshakes exude
But the cold that ensues,
can..
Freeze your inner organs solid
You remind me of wet socks
and November mornings.
A bitter sensation
that leaves me begging
to peel you off my soaked feet.
You overwhelm me.
When Great
Mystery invites you
At your cherished
Last days to cross
The bridge from
One Sun's realm
To another one ~
All your true beauty
Resplendently reveals
In a hug, in gentle whispers
To our little ones ~ wisdom secrets
Gained within abundant years. . .
And how good they are, bringing
Colourful intuitive drawings
Sweet children's creations
  And suddenly when
You talk with them
I see your older brothers kindness
And his wisdom upon your face
They shimmer with love
And strange silence
Sensing illness
And suffering
Waving goodbye
You give a gentle caress
Removing one untamed tress
From well known forehead
With your beloved tired hand

All that really matters at the end
Is how many breaths you have
From Mother Earth to Ancient Stars
That on your life journey
Good memories
Of blissful moments
Are all that's important
Skiing on sparkling snow slopes
Together, Travelling, having
A great laugh after visiting
Venice and Peggy Guggenheim
Museum, Train moving,
Reading some splendid poems
About life's happiness, homeland, bread,
Mother's love
Grandpa's and Grandchild's
Sacred connection
Singing a native song
About our most cherished tree
A tune you make without words
And you sing with vowel sounds
And we sing with tears in our eyes
Holding hands in silence

homewrecker,
you lived within every
callous and dimple,
invading my space
like dust between
my fingertips

your skin like wallpaper,
faded and worn,
pulled taunt along
these walls.

your thoughts
a constant thumping
of footsteps along
the floorboards

homewrecker,
from you i learnt
gunshots sound
a lot like a key
turning in a lock

it's because of you
i cannot look at
these walls, without
seeing the shadow
of a fist reflected
by the light

homewrecker,
the rooms are vacant,
the air stilled,
the hallways scream
and close in at night.

homewrecker,
i used to be an open house
but now because of you
i shut the doors
(i shut the doors)

Sin
A love that could never be
Hearts beat for eternity
His kiss upon her lips so warm
Before they faced the storm

A scarlet letter she did wear
To tell all around of her fair
That she was his *****
In the eyes of all

But the love they shared could not die
For his hands held her high
No shame for them in his mind
For evermore in this time

They all scowled at this true love
For they said its not from above
But born in the belly of a beast
The love that only devils will feast

But they loved until the bitter end
When her life and his depend
Of greater things of this world
And now united in the sky above
The nights of my life
that morphed into days
tired body and mind
in so many ways

to rise from the bed
not rested at all
seemed to promise me daily
an additional fall

my spirit now broken
my energy gone
these sleepless nights
they've gone on too long

I don't want to work
it's become a struggle to live
the hungry faces keep coming
and I have no more to give

across this world children starving
and I don't understand why
with the government's riches
hungry kids have to die
