DaSH the Hopeful
If I stood in our doorway
With the light against my back
Would you answer me a question
If I gathered the courage to ask?

If I whispered to these four blank walls
Of how Time scared me more than death
Would you laugh at me in pale moonlight
As I draw ragged breath

"That stuff kills you!" They all say
But by then they've failed to listen
The hands are broken, the clock tipped over
*But I still hear it ticking!
Time.

Uncommitted as ever
Yet I convinced myself this is better
Better than the cold I feel
Inside my head nothing is real
Eaten alive by my own demons
Yet I still thrive for no reason
Given no proof that you'll stay
Settling with just pushing it all away
I've decided I won't care
I don't want to be made aware
So let me forget how to live
We both know I've got nothing to give
Everything's been taken from me
And I just don't want to be....

Words fill the spaces you dont.
Black ink on a white page prove opposites attract
And I fear we're too similar
The familiarity causes too much comfort

Paranoia is a fine art

But my confidence dries the inkwell in which you sit
And now you're choking on my fumes
Drowning in the silence of my non ambition
        I know you'll die,
*But words will fill the spaces you don't.

I watched
As you held on with every breath
I laughed
When you had nothing left
I smiled
At every mistake you made
I stopped
When I saw that I was unsafe
I saw
The thing that hurt you beyond belief
I felt
The blade that cut you so **** deep
I cried
For all the same reasons
I stayed
When you would've made the choice to leave...

Theres a rose in the garden that's been through a storm
Its hurt and small now but it seems so worn
Its gone through the wringer but still it stands
Exciting no one it makes no demands but it
Amazes me how to this day
One little rose can turn no one away.
I wrote this for someone in my elementary school that passed away

Generation Information:
Running 'round, drugs in cases
Even if ya hate ya placement
Time moves faster with some patience
Seniles claim *conspiracy;

Wonder what kinda bombs we makin'
FOURTEEN MILLION DIVORCED PARENTS
Raising kids who feel forsaken
Walking round with Glocks, hoping they don't get blammed next,
No Christmas anymore;
Santa Claus is hooked on *Xanax

And once you get outta Hell
Get framed and put in jail
Its hard to crawl from the bottom back up to the place you fell
We say we work in retail
But shoes ain't what we sell,
So please cover your ears
Don't listen to what we tell.
Children taught to be pitiless
**** anybody with viciousness
Shot too high
Expecting adults
And that's where the militias went
Murdered by a lonely kid who got no Love
Trained to pull a weapon if push comes to shove
Look up in the sky
They made Ravens outta doves
*Sinned so much, afraid to ask forgiveness from above
