look at where my feet have been
they will not stop
there is no end

I find you between the pages of textbooks
I see you in Christmas lights

My past and present is skewed
and I don't know if tomorrow is yesterday
Hiding in the bathroom
Laying on the floor
Weeping from the heartache
Begging, "Please, no more"
I cry out for help
But nobody tends to listen
You spark the words
My name in vain
I question life
Am I even sane?
Nothing is ever what it seems
It's just a tragic fantasy

i saw an injured bird
making it's way
through the grass
in my back yard.
i didn't know
how to help it,
so i put out the
last of my cigarette,
went back inside,
and picked up my phone.

1 missed call

i called you back,
you didn't answer.

this morning,
i watched a bird
helplessly search
for safety,
and walked away.

that was the second hardest part of the day.
i don't know why, but i have to have to have to keep you close to me.
i don't want to not know you.

i'm wearing nothing
but a blanket and
the glow of my tv

and i wanna talk to you about
innocence
and fragility

consider this my
loudest plea
I like you
          you like her
It has been said
You can lead a horse to water
But you can't make him drink

I now understand that phrase
You can help all you want
Talk till you're blue

Simple truth is
People will do what
people will do

I GIVE UP!!!!

why wait?
there is so much out there,
willing to be explored

why wait?
say hi to the cute person,
you never know what's in store

why wait?
your dreams are attainable,
you just have to reach for them

why wait?
stop holding back your emotions
let them pour out of you soul

why wait?
when there is so much left to give
why wait, when you can go?

my stomach so that the
warmth
would stop me
from clenching my jaw
because i know that if
~ light ~
were a person,
i'd have already met him.

you smile like you've
swallowed the sun.
never have i felt, never have, have i, felt, have, i.
