Imposing mountains
Expanding forests
Nature all around.

Images of my childhood
pass me by

Weekends by the beach
and long drives
to reach those trees

The kindness
of my people
never far behind

I wish to go back

To my home in the hills
With mango trees
and fresh breeze

I lived a large
part of my youth
carrying things
that didn’t
belong to me
Indeed I’ve carried
their loads for
too **** long
The load of how
they felt about me
the load of what
they’ve said about me
the load of how
They’ve perceived me
for far too long
These load was never
mine to carry
to begin with
Today I am free
free at last
from criticism
fears , insecurities
and other people’s
opinion
These loads
are no longer mine
to carry
Regardless
how desperate
and foolish
they may seem
Set yourself FREE .... This load ain’t yours to carry!
what i miss
most about the
ocean is the
freedom of
standing on rocks
over the waves
without any worries

Madison
She needed to be saved,
But her Prince was nowhere in sight.
So she forged her sword and wore her armor.
She slayed the dragon and any who dared cross her.
Soon she was more feared then any Dragon or man.

all these words that
I have left unsaid,
will forever haunt me dead.
I have been coming apart
At the seams
Threadbare and worn
Barely a tapestry
And all the world applauds
‘It has been a beautiful unravelling’

If you hurt again and again
Forgiveness becomes a sin

Lean on me
I'll be descreet
Winking down the hall

Have you seen a hamster ball
The kind that spin around

Tell me more
And anything else
I'll dance until I fall
Cold and tired
Just want to rest
Time gone like a bird
straight out of his nest
