For after I am dead,
and my soul from this Earth has gone,
I hope this one sentence
describes my life,
"She walked with God."
what an awesome life that will be.

I love the way you look at me,
your eyes so Full of lust.
I love the way yoU kiss my lips,
I Can't help but want you too.
I know you want to taKe it slow,

Only you can translate
where you are
on your voyage through
this varied farce
called “life”.

No one else can dictate
to you…
or should even dare…
how to phrase
your feelings,
your thoughts,
your personal moments.

Who is anyone to
cause another to feel
inept or inferior
for wording their
experiences as they will?

We are all both
audience and poet,
consumed by the
powerful spell of words
and meaning
we are bonded
in ink.

It takes gumption
and courage
to give voice to
your vision of
the world.

It often requires
resilience and nerve
to open your heart
and peel back the
layers of skin,
and let others take
a long look at the
inner workings of YOU.

Be brave,
take courage,
let your soul speak
in its very own
language.

People will read
your words and
listen to the sweet
whispers
and thunderous shouts
that flow from pens
and keys
to release the
inner demons and angels
and the lyrical
vines that bloom and live
in our individual
landscapes,

fluidly coursing from
our own rabbit holes
with fortitude and grace
and our neverlands,
where we need never
grow up,

to share with those
that need to see
and hear and feel
and wonder.

The Tinkerer
Tonight,
This terrible night,
In the absence of light
The storm, imminent
Much else, irrelevant.
The winds,
Leaving the soul distraught,
Obscuring the mind.

Tonight,
This terrible night.
Extinguished,
Is the flame of hope in mankind.
This, the reason why
In my soul
The absence of light.
Someone close to me was in an accident today. I need help

when i was small and delicate
my parents were so worried
they grew up quite the pessimissts
and panicked in a hurry
so when I swallowed a firefly
their grabby hands and tight faces
thought called out 'will she die?'
they opened up my mouth and poked around in the dark places
they had such an uptight lifestyle
however, i was the opposite
the firefly i swallowed was shining through my smile.
i havent stopped smiling since
