When I was younger
I was taught to never talk with strangers
For I was gullible
And they might fool me with no apparent reason
When I was a little older
Strangers turned into acquaintances
Acquaintances turned into friends
Friends turned into lovers
I learned that my elders were right
When they told me to never talk with strangers
For I was gullible enough to be fooled
I shouldve listened to them
