I miss you, there is no denying it.
without your grace I feel unfit.
You glow like a shining star,
Giving hope to this broken heart.
...
As horrid as it seems,
society cannot exist without inequality.

If we were a tree
I guess I might say,
It's been quite a while
Since we started to sprout

I know we've branched out
But I trace back down
To see the roots have spread
Staying anchored to the ground

The winds may howl,
Thunder may strike
But try as they might
They can't knock us down

As we grow together
Towards the sky, rooted to the earth
This growth it goes to show
The seeds were planted right.

When you're putting on a mask
Running blindly from the past
I'll be here waiting
Always waiting for you

When your cheeks burn from smiling
And your eyes burn from secret crying
I'll be here waiting
Always waiting for you

When your heart is surely broken
By the one that you had chosen
I'll be here waiting
Always waiting for you

When all your days seem hopeless
And living is just pointless
I'll be here waiting
Always waiting for you

When you finally need a new love
To replace the one you're tired of
I'll be here waiting
Always waiting for you

But one day I must pass
For nothing ever lasts
And up there I'll be waiting
Always waiting for you

Why when I turn to you,

The final being who shows care,

Do you get angry? Why?

Little do they know I’m standing there

With a noose around my neck,

Waiting for you to tell me you love me,

To make me feel the warmth,

That I thought your heart felt for me.

But then my coffin is nailed shut,

And I again I’m left alone.

missing you comes in breezes
memories reside in the back of my mind
not daring to come start replaying
because they know my fragile heart
is not ready to see what we were
and accept
what we've become
strangers
missing you comes in hail storms
rare
and painful
I don't miss you as a lover. I miss you as a friend

There comes a time that you hit rock bottom
You don't have all the worries but it feels like you got em
You cry and you claw and you climb and you shout
But you know without question there's no way out
It's so dark you wave your hand in front of your face
Still all you see is a black empty space
And the marks on your features like wrinkles in the past
Hold tight to the pain that you thought wouldn't last
But here you are today in the darkness
Alone
Wondering where you went wrong...why you're not skin and bone
Struggles
