you never know how much i cared
you never even cared how much i did
it hurts, though i never asked for more
i still loved you anyway

but the countless nights end
when all sweet legendary tales closed
a hymn to wave sweet farewell then
i closed my eyes in breeze of pain

you are free; you are now
go and fly
be happy, and promise me
to never come back
ever again
just a lil favor on my side.
you gave up, you just did. what else can i do? you're not holding anymore.

"How can you crave something deeper from another, when you refuse to look past the skin..?"
I* remember the feeling of waking up for nothing
The empty, gray taste everything had
        How I'd stare off
Out windows
Or across streets

I remember walking to the river
And the grass not bending beneath my feet
The current wouldn't change nor stop for me
And I imagined it would always be this.
Having everything I had always wanted right in front of me and it not matter

I remember being stuck in the rain and not getting wet

         Watching
Quietly accepting what was, and simultaneously not acknowledging what it meant.

It was comfortable, but now *I
want control.
With my teeth gritted against my grandfather's wrist watch
I put the dope in my veins
      The ideas it contains
Make me numb for a while
So numb I don't realize the metal twist and snap between my jaws
Okay, no, I do not do any kind of hard drug, the dope is a metaphor for poetry itself. The watch both time and heritage.
I would lay with you
on buttercups and clover
neath the green, green trees
all speckled in their shadows
two trout in loves starry stream
