You're at a party when--déjà vu--
The music changes from out of the blue.
You might miss a step, but whatever you do
Keep dancing.

Meteorologists predict a storm.
But inside all is comfy and warm.
If you want to stay true to form,
Keep dancing.

All through the evening your friends come and go.
That is the nature of parties, you know.
Your feet might grow tired; even so,
Keep dancing.

Some say life's a party.
At least we can pretend.
We know that at some point
Parties have to end.

You look at the clock; the hour is late.
But your time of departure can wait.
Why leave the party when you're feeling great?
Keep dancing.

life outweighs my years
it resides inside like sap
memories drying
bursts of fluttering
sparrows perk the morning sky
great start summer day
A paintbrush and a canvas
Is where my passion lies
Watching for a reaction
Through other peoples eyes
To reaffirm my love of art
A condition I embrace
To cultivate my budding gift
And the dream that I must chase
the sun arose late
admiring its reflection
in the lunar night
if could capture the setting sun
stop the day from being done
send it back where it begun
I could relive this time of fun
Sometimes
the people that
slip through the cracks
keep on falling
and never get back.
I never trust the pretty parts of life,
I only really believe in the dark side,
gritty brutal violence and pain,
so I am seldom let down.
That’s why kindness always makes me cry.
