"the problem with someone setting your soul on fire is that you are usually left with ashes"
a n o n
Heavy is the heart
That knows of love
but has never lived it
Tired is the mind
Filled with knowledge
Never spoken
It takes
**a strong soul to share
a brave heart to care
a great mind to dare
and all the above to bear
There is such a thing as magic
and that magic is called love.
You create magic
every time you choose love over hate.
Love has the power to do wonderful things
and no matter how hopeless things may seem
the magic of love can prove otherwise.
Whether the love is shared with your lover,
your friends,
your family,
your pets,
a stranger,
a child it's all the same.
Love can be found in a song,
a poem,
a smile,
a laugh,
a compliment,
a hug,
or a reassurance that everything will be okay.
Love can change the world
and changing the world is magical.

It's 2am and here I sit.
From my fingers the colors drip.
Sleep was peaceful,
I easily fell.
The nightmares last forever,
Inescapable hell.
When I finally arise
To feel the tears pour from my eyes,
There's no way to make it right.
So I stay up all night.
Whether it's poems, painting, coloring;
It's the only way to set me free.
For the demons I cannot face,
The love they need I cannot replace.
I try to create beauty
To replace joy stolen from me.
But the pain doesn't ever slow
So deeper into madness I must go.
Words find the colors, the pencils too,
Trying to find my pretty pieces to display them to **you.
When all of the stars have gone silent and their light Fades away. When the moon retires from its Vigilant watch and Dawn breaks on a new day. I will arise from taking my rest and see what things may come, with a new morning the sun will shine and the clouds were all the way. I will find new adventures and better promises in the plans of a new day. So let the old night be forgotten and let Dawn's light shine upon the way. Let the morning come and bring with it a new day.

In between the thoughts of you
I'm trying to discover my lost self...

In between the smiles of you
I'm trying to detect my lost piece of heart...

In between the words of you
I'm trying to find my lost silence...

And now,

In between our discrete and factual worlds
I'm trying to build our own figmental kingdom
that is invincible !!!

I* saw my reflection in the glass that I lifted to my face. It was the

reflection of a drunken disappointment,  and this red wine tasted

like  loneliness and sad  poetry. I don't know what you did to

me, but

Hemingway,  Neruda and Fitzgerald all went down in history,

and I'm starting to understand why. Unrequited love. One  more sip

and the next drunken  poet is me.

I couldn't march today
but I was with you
I thank you my sisters and brothers
for standing up for what is right

I couldn't march today
but I was with you
In my heart I stood with you all
Fighting for equality

Equality for all
Every man, woman, and child
Black, white, brown....every shade of beautiful
Every religion, or none at all

I couldn't march today
but I was with you
All my nasty women
All men of quality who marched for equality

I couldn't march today
but I was with you
Every child that raised their voice
and marched for their future

I heard you!
I will not forget the sound of your cry!
I will remember forever the sight
of my sisters and brothers marching....united!

This is only the beginning
That much is true
Let those that oppose us know it!
You let them know today!

I am so thankful for each and every one of you!
For every sign, every battle cry, every step!
For fighting for your rights as well as mine.
I couldn't march today....but you did and I thank you.

From the bottom of my heart
For myself and all who couldn't be there
in body, but stood with you in spirit....
Thank you so much.
