The words lost from my lungs,
Breath stolen by the virus
That has yet to cross my threshold.
But the fear and the pain,
So real,
On the faces of everyone
Just trying to make it through the day.
The same day
Just on repeat.
The same day
Just on repeat.
Over and over again.

I can see the pain
Through the screen.
Connecting virtually
With people who this time last year
I would wrap my arms around
Not a second thought to be had,
And now,
Arms empty,
Heart hurting,
I can only watch on a tiny screen
For fear of losing you to my selfishness.

They say there’s light now,
At the end of this long tunnel.
But at times I am so blinded by the darkness
That maybe I’m looking in the wrong place,
Because I can’t feel the warmth
That the light should bring.

I know this is not forever,
We will grow and adapt.
Learn to live and thrive.
Relearn to hold our loved ones close,
To sing our songs out loud,
To stand side by side together,
And feel the warmth of the sun
Without fear.

But in this darkness,
Though I cannot hold you close,
I’m right with you,
Walking side by side,
Just 2 meters away,
Just 1 phone call away,
Right in our hearts together.

We will get through this to brighter things.
I am right here with you
Always

Words are a powerful thing they could help in so many ways,
But if used wrongly they could ruin someones day,

Our voices are a weapon if you choose to use it for good,
If you use it to bully others then karma will hit you in the face with mud,

We can all change the world if we work to without the fights,
Kindness doesn't cost a penny and it's never too late to make things right,

Pretending to be something your not will only make you more unhappy and sour,
Trust in the real you because being yourself is your super power,

No one person is better than the rest of us,
We are all equals and we are all definitely loved,

So shine brightly and believe in who you are,
As you are so beautiful like a shooting star.

Friend

If
only

I could once
again
become my own
friend

Then
maybe

I wouldn't
feel
lonely
I'm lonely in a crowd, and I'm lonely when I'm alone.
I used to not be this way.
I used to be content and happy alone.
But then, I reached out to a crowd
and abandoned the friend I made with myself.
Now, I'm the culprit.

It's been awhile
since you had
anything to say

I try to
reach out

but I fear
you want me
to go away

So I guess
I'll give you space
and try not to
let my mind race

But I miss
your company
and the smile
upon your face
Several days feels like awhile when you go from talking all day to barely saying anything at all.

The Skies

Cold we surpass the skies and clouds?
Could we be more than what we want?
Could we stay out of that crowd?
What if we’ll just be sad and daunt?

With all my hearth believe in thee
With all your soul you love me too
Grow up my love, we’re like a tree,
From small to big, we rise, we’re new

So don’t give up, forever fight,
Be strong as winter north winds are.
We found our ways, our paths are bright,
And light like dark night skies by stars.

Have confidence and shout ‘’we can!’’
Create a world just with your hand.
Spread out our love in all you have,
Go further ‘till the distant end.

And when that day, the Death, will come,
We’ll smile together, arm in arm.
And with grave tears in our eyes,
We’ll say to Death ‘’we touched The Skies!’’
