Unburdens the dusky river

dreams of flow dead in the bog of hyacinth
harvest burnt in the scorch of aridity
ripples robbed by the silt of dogma
sunbeam denied by the **** of creed

I was meant to reach the sea,
now I would never make it.

I pick the river's shattered pieces
with my own from the wintry dusk.
This is a poem
For people who feel lonely.*

Loneliness is a real feeling
Just like happiness
or love
or depression.
You can feel it when no one is in your presence, just as real as you can feel it in a crowded room.
You can feel it lying by yourself at night, just as real as you can feel it being held by the wrong hands.
Hear this:
Someone out there loves you.
Someone out there *adores
you.
And if they don't at this moment in time, they will in the future.
They are thinking about meeting someone just like you.
God has perfect timing
And He knows exactly when and how your life will unravel.
You are special and unique and absolutely no one else can play your part.
You deserve to be loved unconditionally.
You deserve to feel special.

So here's to all the loners
Who will no longer feel lonely
Soon.

Delilah baby I can feel the weight of you in my arms.

I can feel my k to z love for you and see how that laugh of yours makes people cry
and how that smile pierces my heart because it looks just like his did.

I can feel the sun kissing each one of our toes as we sit overlooking the grand canyon in the kaleidoscope sunset.
your spider fingers are wrapped in my hair like a plea to never be left alone
your spindle legs are all knobby kneed and pale entwined with mine.

baby he left me not you.

I was a hurricane and he loved you too much to look

afraid that one glance and he'd be head over heels reeling out of control
like you were the drug and he was the addict.

they say everything happens for a reason and you are my reason.

Delilah baby you are the here and the now of forever.
the stop sign on the corner is an obstacle for street racers but its a godsend because its just enough of a pause for me to kiss you between the eyes.

and I can't ever finish anything so this story isn't complete

and at the top of the pass where the air is clear enough if we sing loud enough maybe he will hear us and remember who he left behind.

Hands touch, eyes meet, lips kiss, going through the motions...
If you meet my mom, then your the one.
I'm my fathers little angel, he only wants the best.
My brothers are protective, it's not hard to guess.

Conversation or lush in, bring in love one another,
Give me all your love and I'll never upset your brothers,
You and me are eternal lovers when our lips lock.
~IcySky~
My love is yours, forever...
But only if you're true,
I'll give you my heart,
If you're ready to give me yours too.
~AB~
Conversation or lush in, bring in love one another,
Give me all your love and I'll never upset your brothers,
You and me are eternal lovers when our lips lock.

Hello,

I've made it.
The sky is blue and the air is clean.
It's beautiful.
Everything is soft and white,
It comes from the sky and drifts..
But it is all so cold
  So cold.

I think I'll just rest here for a while..

Goodbye,

Friend

Dying love in a gilded cage,
Imprisoned by my pent up rage.
You never loved me, but neither did I,
The last gift you gave was the gift of goodbye.

Shay
He was the brightest star the world had ever seen,
but no star can burn bright forever, although that was unforeseen.
He was a man who brought joy to all those around him,
so that he never had to show them how his life was grim.
He made them laugh until their stomachs hurt,
even though inside he was full of despair, sadness and disconcert.
Like a clown, his smile was painted on,
only when he removed it did you see the wretchedness in his deep blue eyes; that’s when it dawned
that he was a slow dying flower,
fading petal by petal and losing power
until the day he’d been poisoned enough by this ghastly world,
and he died once and for all by his own hand – that’s when the truth of his life really unfurled.
