sometimes I think about what I would do if someone handed me a liquid that ended my life right away without feeling any pain or putting in any effort.
a few years ago I probably would have taken it without hesitation,
but now I would stop and think about how the sky turns pink when the sun sets in the evening.
I would think about how my dogs lick and jump when I first walk through the door after a few short hours.
I would think about how the sun reflects off the buildings in the city on a beautiful day and how good it feels to look at while drinking a cup of coffee-
I would think about how at ease we laid on the train ride home that day and how whenever we're standing under a sky full of stars we look at eachother instead of up.
life is full of little moments that set us free

*do not drink the liquid.
This is a poem
For people who feel lonely.*

Loneliness is a real feeling
Just like happiness
or love
or depression.
You can feel it when no one is in your presence, just as real as you can feel it in a crowded room.
You can feel it lying by yourself at night, just as real as you can feel it being held by the wrong hands.
Hear this:
Someone out there loves you.
Someone out there *adores
you.
And if they don't at this moment in time, they will in the future.
They are thinking about meeting someone just like you.
God has perfect timing
And He knows exactly when and how your life will unravel.
You are special and unique and absolutely no one else can play your part.
You deserve to be loved unconditionally.
You deserve to feel special.

So here's to all the loners
Who will no longer feel lonely
Soon.

Again, you came, and love is what you seek
I seek
Again, you left, and love is what you stole
I need...

Our love was Faustian
And I was your Lucifer
I gave you my world
But you struck me down
And cast me out!
Was my light not bright enough?
Was my flame not hot enough?
To illuminate and thaw your black and frozen heart?

I believed in you

My shining star, you fade so violently
My world has descended to grey
My future has disintegrated
All because I believed in you...

If a thought is worth a penny
Let me buy yours today
So I shall  see
So very clearly
Whether you are anything like
What your deep thoughts are
on the outside

Your silence thoughts
May speak a volume
Let me be your voice
Let the whole world know
Who you really are
On the inside...

I am willing to pay
a dollar or a penny for...
A penny for your thought...

The Products of my Farm are these
Sufficient for my Own
And here and there a Benefit
Unto a Neighbor’s Bin.

With Us, ’tis Harvest all the Year
For when the Frosts begin
We just reverse the Zodiac
And fetch the Acres in.

I have no friends - I have no wife;
An ogre in a bog.
I have no love - I have no life;
But ****** I've got a dog.

I don't really think I've written
this many entries for just one poem

it's a beam of light that
scores my thoughts
and begins to type across this board

but in the end
it was a refraction of shadows
hinting at another dream

because these ramblings of another world
are the minds way of scrambling
to form new words
and convey our Neverland
that we've Neverfound

Scented candles add an extra burst
of enthusiasm to wander this page a little longer
because they are my witness
that even Evergeen Woods
have some Cinnamon Bark hidden in them.

the candles are made of wax
and when I pour myself to sleep
perhaps our wicks stay lit
or do we fiddle away
with our dreams.
Something about something.
