We see them all the time
Who sell happiness as a meal
To unsuspecting people who're confused
They sound smart & have the right jokes

But follow closely & they get old
Bitter, experienced old men
Meddling into everyone's business
Trying to sell some happiness.
Haven't we all seen some ******* artists...

We all want it
But we haven't got any
Having it makes you free
Or else you're a slave to society

If you have some
You can go around the world
If you have a lot
The world goes around you

What good are you,
O'penniless pauper
In a society full of money
And devoid of love
How pleasant is to have money heigh **!

Aye I fell from the stars
When I touched ground, it broke me
My folks gathered the pieces they can
It took me a while to piece it together

Then I went looking for the missing pieces,
In places so alien & people so insane.
I was reduced to ashes in the process
My friends gathered a handful of those ashes

And gave me courage
To rise up like a Phoenix.
Rising up like a phoenix after total annihilation

I had it figured out
Before it shattered away into pieces
Then I went on a journey
To get it all back, like in the movies

I got more confused than before
Worked a lot & got high everyday
I've seen the depths of darkness
Even though I descended into madness
Confidence is a fickle thing sometimes

I wish I wrote Poems
When I was in love,
At least then, I would've remembered
How It felt like.
I wish...

Choose me one day
Instead of all those men
Take me home and
Make love like there's no tomorrow

Let's not fall asleep
Reading each other's heart out
All those poems we wrote
Fo people we'll never meet
She was a goddess indeed...

I know she plays to win
That's how she won me over
I tried to impress her
But she already fell for another

Last year I learned how to let go
But I kept doing it over & over
When do I learn to express myself
Before I forever suppress myself.
Once upon a beautiful girl...
