She
She stopped me that night,
she told me that it's alright

She told me that she's not stupid
the reason we're together's not, because of cupid

Me

I asked her what she meant
Her love cost me no rent

I told her she's confusing me
I knew what else it could be

**

She saw that I only want my once true love
she said that she understands it will be rough

We part ways and never again did we speak
I'll never forget the times we had at willow creek

Last of her that I heard, she was underneath the ground
at peace with herself, she and death is now bound
Probably not the best I've written, but at least better rhyme schemes. It's a poem about how I used someone to get my mind off my ex, and the person fell for me, and I didn't know and then I decided to let her go, because she was better off without me
This is the tragedy when you don't trust your good deeds, and for the fear
They're given a skip again and again

A lifelong search for love

I have spent a lifetime searching for love;
The only thing I found was a love that was false.
I need another chance to show I am good enough;
I am tired of false love disguised as lust.

I will keep searching for her,
Because she is my destination.
The only one who can save me;
The only one who can take me to Heaven.

I love, love; I need her touch,
But if her love is temporary it will never be enough.
I have done all I could to be the one to give her love;
But she didn’t want it, she didn’t earn it, so she is now gone.

Onto the next search for the next lover in line.
Who knows?  Maybe this time I will find Ms. Right.
If I am lucky in love I could find what I am looking for;
But unfortunately I know this search is long and hard
And it will not happen overnight.

Repelled by tradition
  and past status-quo

I enter the jungle
  where hides the unknown

Rejecting excuses
  and all that’s passé

My bow is drawn tightly
  —with fear now my prey

A Rolling Stone

A rolling stone gathers no moss;
For it forever travels on, even though it has no legs.
It simply rolls on, through the poorest little village;
Its destination unknown, its path filled with the dead.

This rock is enormous.  Your garden has turned to dust;
Your plants are now flat and the grass has been soiled
And marked by this rock.  It left a lasting impression.
You'll remember the rolling stone, but by now it's moved on.

The rolling stone is still rolling, it has rolled all it's life;
Its job is to roll and it's done that just right.
Destroying all things, that get in its way;
It knows its future, it's always the same.

To roll is to live, for this rolling rock;
It only quest in life, is to keep rolling on.
Leaving a path of destruction, for nothing can stop its wrath;
It's dizzy from the rolling; its life seems quite a laugh.

People flee when they see it coming
And it's now grown to be huge.
Look out!  Here comes the rolling stone;
It’s coming directly for you.

**** Jagger saw the rock, as it rolled down the hill;
But he thought it was an illusion, he saw because of the pills.
Now he's old he's not so convinced, that the rock wasn't real
And maybe now at last, he can start to really believe.

Poetry is the mother of words!
Do you bore yourself?

Do you rent the space
You’re standing in
Owning nothing
But default?

Do you recycle words
Until their utterance fails
Mistrusting your ability
To judge what’s right?

Do you hedge your bets
Never going all in
For fear of losing the very thing
You haven’t got?

Do you count the days
As tedium destroys spontaneity
And all energy drains
From your lifeless form?

Do you bore yourself?

A unique kind of love

My love for you is unique to me;
Nobody else could love you the way I do.
I love you more than any other man could,
But your only reply is “Who are you?”

And not in a good way, like “Hello! Who are You!?”
But “Hell no.  Get away.  Who the Hell are you?”

My love is an obsession and needs a woman to fill the void,
Because without love I am nothing but a lost little boy.
My love is all encompassing; it blinds me from life,
Because life is pointless without love so I want to die.

Depression sets in for another long night;
Another night alone, another love is not in sight.
Dreaming of love once more, my heart beats slowly.
It used to beat fast when I would meet a beautiful woman,
But I guess by now, you know the rest of the story…
