Let the sun kiss your soul
Wake up the silent world
Meditate on the paradise
Released from night’s caress
Simple seeds of wisdom
Sown just before dawn
Let the sunlight rejuvenate
And paradise be in full bloom
When night eases into dawn
Dreams get a lease of life
Imaginations beyond hold
You are a free traveler
Let the sun kiss your soul

When peace comes curling up to me
comes to rest softly on a sweetest breeze
or in the cooing of a mourning dove
carries my aching soul far and gone
it comes in the soothing kiss of dawn
in the quiet clouds of red and orange
brief a fiery sky, consumes all the
troubles of this world.

would you believe
it is the simplest of things,
could it be the top of the world?
possibly;
in comparison, that is what it is to me
my love, you hold the candle by all means
to lie next to you at the end of God's day
is pure perfection, you see
i am merely beneath the covers to dream
and doing so next to you,
is my favorite place to be
I love you forever, T.

my whispers,
they float over the currents
braving the undulating waves in our overture...
around their necks, hung time-worn pendants

whispers...
struggling to convey my sentence
like wreaths adrift perhaps with hope
like a requiem filled perhaps with remorseful penance
but more like weakened footholds on a slippery *****...

this dream...
only spoke grandly of sprawling blackness
where nothing did gleam
only thoughts heavy but...
oddly weightless

except for...
a repertoire of transgressions...
raucous and obnoxious
mischievous taunts that pull me back
caging me,
enslaving me,
smothering me senseless

that was my consciousness
where second chances exist...
in faint sporadic eruptions
through the heavy curtains of uncertainty's mist

finally awakened by hastened breaths
heavy and laboured
as like previous temporary deaths

I could hear my heart
thumping...
beating...
fighting...
to set its beats apart

breathe deep...
allow the new day's air sink in
rise fully from sleep
wake up
and...
let today begin
Based on a dream.

Pictures of dead people I know
are smiling and are so full of life
hanging on my wall
reminding me
to seize this day,
because it's not cliche,
and it won't come again.

A single sheet of paper
Crushed by the paperweight
Few lines written across
Now, forgotten and resigned
To their fate of loneliness
Poetic heart’s fleeting indulgence
Scarred the pristine canvas
Bearing the burden of poetic frenzy
Single sheet of paper to the rescue
Now, crushed by the paperweight
Forgotten and lonely
A love story between words and paper
Neglected by the poet

For every grain of sand the ocean shoreline comes to move
To count them all a task so very long
Fill your hand with grains that come in time to you to prove
The softness is a feeling ever strong

Endless possibilities now sprinkle in the wind
Dancing to the magic that we feel
Shiny little glistenings about the ground begin
Each and every foot step is so real

As we walk along our feet they know where we have been
Only do our hearts know where we go
Just to have these moments in our life now once again
And the knowledge that I love you so

Somewhere there’s a number written down in someone’s dreams
Noting every grain of sand we see
Staggering the digits as I hope the number means
*Every day that you will be with me
Thank you for reading

I tasted you on my lips
hint of last night's honey,
   your essence lingered
a musky scent still
    enveloped my senses,
sun and stars had risen
  simultaneously
beckoning through pale
   filtered moonlight,
sharing what lovers do
we were as gypsy souls
    gaily dancing naked,
to the tempestuous
  music of lustful hearts
leaving sensibilities
    for the light of day,
when mingled ambiance
dwelled in contemplation
and the possibilities
        were infinitely composed

rained-on parade
Kissing you was like swallowing
the salty, salty sea:

I have corals for ribs,
and seaweed limbs;
my bones are ship-wreck saves
and wishful pennies.

My heart is a sea-shell:
if you put your ear to it,
you’ll hear me screaming, shouting,
pining
for you.

Rains wash away
The moments of gloom
Gray skies transforms
Into pristine blue
White cottony clouds
Wipe away few tears
Lights play along
Gifting a rainbow bouquet
World is brighter
Hope spreads its wings
Dreams take to the skies

As morning light
Swathes over
Bare skin
The private
Constellation
Of stars retire
Smooth transition
From night
To day
Every pore
Breathes happiness
Slant sunrays
Caress the soul
Introducing a
New day
To the concealed
World of
Two lost souls
Night’s reminder
Does not fade away
Entwined passion
And new dreams
Welcomes a new day
