Anabel
you are beauty
in a nut shell
finally breaking free
of what it means
to be beautiful

She called me again today
from the top of a queen-sized bed
drenched in scents and sweat
and draped in satin and velvet

She called me again today
from the tears of a thick cloud
slowly dripping into a hole
on the broken earth below

She called me again today
from a bubbling ancient spring
into which a mad woman high on glee
had poured gallons of stale ale

She called me again today
from the torn page
of a creased exercise book
old, forsaken and mute

She called me again today
from where she waylaid me
and sap from a weeping trunk
went thud against tomorrow's hay

She called me again today
from an angry hissing tap
whose force and might
spoke of trapped time

She called me again today
softly from the pride of her casket
and I knew futility then
We live and love in one direction only

in every lifetime
there is that special someone who steps into your path
while their presence may be brief
their footprints are eternal

The words are dying ~
But my eyes are still crying ~
Years later I pine for the love we shared ~
I long for the days you cared ~
I walked away ~
And a thousand times ~
You asked me why ~
And a thousand times ~
All I could do was cry ~
It was fear my love ~
Forever was an unimaginable mountain to climb ~
My young heart could not take the fierce winds ~
The harsh weathers at the top ~
I chose to fall ~
I've never recovered ~
I've never been able to climb again ~
I wait here for you at the bottom ~
But you're already halfway up ~
Holding the hand of another ~
She likes the wind ~
And has better climbing shoes ~

you
i can only write of you,
and you will live here with me
for as long as my hands can hold a pen

Last night,
I held the ocean's hand,

It was soft and giving,
Nothing like the mysterious depths you described,
That body of water was created inside your mind,
You built her up so high, she couldn't help but fall,
Couldn't help but violently crash onto the rocks below

Now she's bruised and cut, with precious pieces missing,
But I'll be the sun that rises and sets for her every night and day,
and I am not afraid of what lies beneath,
Because she's seen my face, even the masks I try to hide,

I smile and kiss her cheeks,
She is 70% water and I will drink her before drowning in the warmest depths of her skin,

Perhaps the moral of this story is that your ocean,
was never meant to be crossed,
It dwells like a black sea, with secrets and the broken hearts of others,
When the night is betrothed to the shadows,
He does not betray her and seek out other light,

But you did,

And now the ocean is gone,
Her gentle waves have reached a safer shore,
and I will keep her here with gentle truth and love

The ocean isn't just beautiful at night, but she is full of rage and fury,

And at last,

She is mine.
Good things come to those who wait and tell the truth about who they are. A man who opens the heart of a woman without the intention to hold it in his hands is not a man.

First touch
First kiss,  bliss
I lick my lips
The tension releases
This feeling I feel
A sickness
This desire builds
All this touching
Still can't get my fill
Craving that look
Of passion in your eyes
Your disguise,
The satisfaction
Of friction,  sweat
Dripping between crevaces
Following the path
The moisture leaves a trail
To the bottom of the ocean
Explosion
Keep going
To the flame inside
It burns,  for you
Steady and hard
I feel this hunger
Quench my thirst
A slow and soft kiss,
First
Then it's just enough
The volcano erupts
Fall down,  bliss
It all started
With one sweet kiss

The sound of your voice is home.
Tell me you have always loved me.
Kiss me like it is the last time you'll see me and say goodbye...

Write lines upon my heart
in pure white light
and I will read them

Taste the nectar
of unbounded
sincerity

Breathe in blossoming
warm compassion

Taste the nectar
of unbounded
sincerity

Touch the tender pool
of infinite white light

Breathe in blossoming
warm compassion

Taste the nectar
of unbounded
sincerity

Meet me in the air space
between your thoughts
For this is holy ground
With the greatest humility and gratitude, I wish to dedicate this poem tonight to all of you at HP who have shown such lovely support for this quiet poem, which emerged from my deepest inner awareness.
Above all, gratitude to my Teachers.

I write with shaking hands,
I'm about to hold yours,
And I can only imagine,
It will feel like holding the universe.
Won't you,
Let me hold it forever.

you meet her,
and all the wars inside you grow silent
you love her,
and that's when you realize,
she's the only thing
worth the pain of ****** hands
