This flesh is temporary
When the boy grows up
To be an old man and dies
His flesh returns to the earth
But the lights that filled his eyes
Returns to the energy
Looking up at the moon
*My god she looks lonely
Feelings shall be heard dear
Passing from heart to head
Whispered gently between souls
Love knew
                           Time may
                                                   heal the void
I could feel the way
As you pushed away
And away away i went
Doused
             in living fire
                                 I burnt to ash
                                                       From the ash
                                                                           Hope springs
                                                                                                 An eternal ring
~     Sometimes Its to much
*And i feel i may bleed to death of it
i once had a beautiful lime tree
it grew from the dirt as a little green spurt
and reached to the heavens from its place in the earth
id wind down the trail to the tree that a love
to sit in his shadow and watch as the sky turns colors above
i lean on my friend and he whispers to me
it sounds like the waves on the sea
and when night has fallen i wave to my friend and leave

Over years i wondered far from my tree
though his whispers are always with me
a leaf caught in my hair
like the thought in my mind
i haven't seen him in years

when i come apon the trail that leads from my home to my tree
the green has overgrown it and they whisper to me
i thought my friend was sleeping
but he had gone from his place in the field
what was left was a dead lime tree
One last time
i leaned against my friend and whispered to his leaves
*i have come at last to say goodbye to my lime tree
Go home
Go home they said
As if it were a punishment
*Home is where id like to be
Home is where my heart finds me
Its insidious
How it creeps in
****** dreams
There Stealing your children
An entire generation
Crippled and broken

I don't believe in Cain and Abel.
It is, like, a fairy tale; a fable.
If the world had no glocks,
We could defend ourselves with rocks.
I was sporting with fb friends about a sign that cited the first credited ****** in the world in the gun control debate. I wanted to respond in a cute way. Is bringing up the idea of ****** really a good idea when beseeching to have less gun control?

1.  If the enemy is in range, so are you.

2.  Incoming fire has the right of way.

3.  Don't look conspicuous, it draws fire.

4.  There is always a way.

5.  The easy way is always mined.

6.  Try to look unimportant, they may be low on ammo.

7.  Professionals are predictable, it's the amateurs that are
    dangerous.

8.  The enemy invariably attacks on two occasions:

       a. When you're ready for them.
       b. When you're not ready for them.

9.  Teamwork is essential, it gives them someone else to shoot at.

10. If you can't remember, the claymore is pointed at you.

11. The enemy diversion you have been ignoring will be the main
    attack.

12. A "******* chest wound" is natures way of telling you to slow
    down.

13. If your attack is going well, you have walked into an ambush.

14. Never draw fire, it irritates everyone around you.

15. Anything you do can get you shot, including nothing.

16. Make it tough enough for the enemy to get in and you won't be
    able to get out.

17. Never share a foxhole with anyone braver than yourself.

18. If you are short of everything but the enemy, you are in a
    combat zone.

19. When you have secured an area, don't forget to tell the enemy.

20. Never forget that your weapon is made by the lowest bidder.

21. Friendly Fire Isn't.

And Mike's Three Corollaries:

1, Keep your head down.

2. Never pick up anything off the ground.

3. Never, ever, trust the locals, especially children.
