The tapestry in the window
Has fallen on one side
But she continues waving
To the passersby
Gifting them gold from her left hand
And showing her stance
Perched upon a lotus
She's a still-life dance
Algae consuming her kneecaps
As she remains in a trance
Her eyes deeper
Than what could be portrayed
With the dye
As we are all deeper
Than what is portrayed on the
Outside

She is beautiful.
Lives in the eye of the beholder.
She is stunning.
Shunned by society.
Her skin is thickened.
It has to be.
Face to face daily with adversity.
She is a motherless child.
Grown up now.
Mother's still there.
A childless mother.
She is a lady unlike any other.
As such she will thrive.
She's staying alive.
Living and breathing.
Taking five.
Gasping and striving.
Making a living.
The power of the voice.
A choice.
Only she can make.

If you want to get some reads
Include Deborah in your write
Poets will be stopping in
Like the dropping in of flies
The place will be all abuzz
With the clicking of the likes
If you want to get some reads
Include Deborah in your write

If your wanting to be known
Throw Deborah into the poem
Doesn't much matter what you say
It'll still have it going on
Whether you feel that this is right
Or know that it is wrong
If your wanting to be known
Throw Deborah into the poem

Sir, have you no shame
In the use of Deborah's name
This is supposed to be serious poetry
Not some popularity game
So think about this truthfully
As I ask you once again
Sir, have you no shame
In the use of Deborah's name

Mmmmmmm......not really.
After all the reads I received from my
"I Miss Deborah" poem and still am. I figure I'm going to ride this gravy train all the way to the top! Woo!!! Woo!!!
Thanks Deborah! All aboard!
She Is Woman
The bottomless abyss grows
As she craves the admiration and attention
of every sunrise of the soul
that shelters and protects her
love that grows~

It is about hope and healing
for the passion of life and dreams
all the adventures past and present
that connects to her very life and being~

She feels like she is brave as she stands alone
but fragile as life passes her by,
each word of smite, breaking her heart
oblivious to her surroundings that she doesnt belong~

As she hears the rustling of love,
her blood boils from thoughts in her head
as it rages through her body
her need starved to be fed ~

She is Woman alone!

Debbie
re- edited ...
His essence surrounded the room
with only the sound of their heartbeats
her pulse races as his eyes locked deeply with
hers ...

He slowly slides a hand on the side of her face
with her sight closed,
she takes his hand to rest her head ...

With his touch she feels wanted and much desire
her eyes glassy , filled with wanted tears
he draws her close,
the feeling each other breathes ...

Slowly he moves his lips to hers ... barely touching
he pauses ... waiting for acceptance
she presses your lips to his essence
moving in unison of one ...

With the dire need of each other
the harder they press with sounds of unborn
essence, a ****** kiss of two lovers
is born, kissing the kiss ...

She -- the girl who I think;
was once upon a time--
in another lifetime;
a part of me

a piece
of my soul
ripped from myself
from a long ago death--

to be found
only to make me understand
that chaos and beauty
could co-exist;

that souls--
no matter how different;
will always find a way
to recognize each other.

Oh and how beautiful and sad
to know that we--
are made out of
broken things that heal us~
This poem--a piece of me;
is for her--a lost and found piece of me~

Beneath the silver
Sun of night's sky
He whispers sweet nothings
And promises the moon.
She is all woman.
She is goddess.

Beneath the harsh
Light of a burning ball
He mutters platitudes
And promises nothing.
She's a little girl.
She has much to learn

Rose
Behind me and my daughter
In line for the Ferris wheel
Perhaps when you are older
You will find breastfeeding
Is the least nasty thing
Your child will do

Wait for the projectile *****
The diaper explosions
Snot handed to you
So kindly like a present
Wait for the strangers to ask you
"So when do you plan to get your body back?"

My body never left
It did the most badass thing
Any body could ever do
What have you done
With the beautiful sharp mind and body
God has given you?
Used your eyes and words
To judge other women
Looked at your tummy in the mirror and thought
"I should be skinnier."

It is a shame,
Women ought to stick together
So I'm going to tell you now
Your bodies are amazing
Magical, you might say
Life giving, you're **** right
Do not judge me
Say that my nursing toddler is nasty
Look at her face,
How can you be so cruel?
For ***** sake,
It's just a ******
I can see more of you
Pre-thirteen
In your crop top and skinny jeans
Than you can of me
