While one day out wandering
I found this poem on the side of the road
Either someone had tossed it out
Or from a car window it was blown

It was covered up with dirt and grime
Guess it had been there quite some time
Plus water spot stains of rain
Or tears someone had cried

It started out simple enough
As it rhymed out this poets love
Then changed course about mid-verse
Over secrets that he learned

Not sure if this was the end
Of the love he held that day
But from where it is that I sit
It sure looks that way

I guess his wasn't the only heart
With which his lover played
Which might explain the reason and the way
I found this poem that day

I read down a few more stanzas
Were the poem ended suddenly
So I stuck the poem into my pocket
As I stuck my thumb in the air to leave

It didn't take that long for a car to stop by
An old man in a sedan with loneliness in his eyes
In conversation he told me he'd been a poet on this road
Something that he does miss but gave up sometime ago

He didn't delve deeply into the reason why
At that point we sat in silence as the landscape passed by
I'm not sure in those moments what was on his mind
But I think there was a tear in the corner of his eye

I figured to leave well enough alone would be best
And still to this day I wonder if ever that
He found that poem I stuffed under the seat
And if it brought sorrow or it brought relief
as I stepped out of the car and back onto the street
I'd like to thank Deborah for the great title suggestion!

She held up the bar like Goliath,
standing there so stoic,
ordering Stoli's on the rocks,
her arms draped in ink-stories.
The scorpions on her elbows
were as revealing
as her broken heart shoulders.
She stood there beautifully,
clenching the tiny glasses
with love and hate
written on her delicate scarred-fingers,
downing the clear Russian-liquid
as if it were a serious habit.
A cascading mop of lime hair
spilled over her darling face,
attempting to hide
her eyes of pure
sweet magic.
Whew.
Kabam.
Abracadabra.
Hypnotized,
I wondered why
anybody
would ever
want to hurt
such a beautiful creature...
But sadly,
I watched her slowly go,
bebop into the swirling crowd,
disappear
into a cloud
of burning tobacco.
The heavy bass
broke my thumping heart.

My Silence is Loud
The humming of the generator
Along with the whispers of the crowd,
The gentle breeze snores
Along with clapping of the doors.

My Silence is Loud
The humming of the Death
Along with the whispers of Deceit,
Ancient Honour snores
Along with clapping of the Time.

My two sides in the overflew
With ashes of universe
I then went to wind
With the whorl of time

You do not see me
Anyone else have indulged
May be History tells the truth
Again, can not say

Where is my existence
Thousands million years
which was washed
On the air
In water
Blood
Marrow

Changes in the pages of history
Interest
The clash
Dialectics
Who is going to look for the truth
Lying on the wind
Rode the wrong emotion
I lost myself

The known river
Seems unknown
The vast forest
The little free bird beside my window
Her song
Her dance
Does not want to play flute anymore
In
The mind
Soul

Strong wind of Strangers
The moment comes to pass
Era
Epoch
Whatever floats through years
Of her songs
Abstract tune

I who seek
The truth of the time
That flows into
The bottom of my heart
Draws a cosmic gravity
Yet waiting for a new Sunflower's bloom

She said
Or someone will
Notice
Not us
Will notice
Just others
Are dancing

We should go
She sighed
Or someone may
Go
And not us
Without
Notice.

So,
We went
So
We danced
And everyone else
Noticed
Not us
But the lonely
Old women and men...
Chaperones, silent,
Eagle-eyed, standing
Un-moving, remembering youth...

While we danced.

*When I saw grandma was spinning yarn at moon
Mother's lullaby was just a fairytale
The measure would not have to weigh the legs
Flew colorful kites in the sky
Had a chat with friends at idle hours
The dreams came but never went with wind
We, all friends were wandering in a fairyland
The words of the poem as the rain came
She loved to hear the poems
When romance flowed with blood
Air, flowers said Spring
When in a lazy Summer afternoon
She stood at my door
Sitting beside me
Sang a song of future
Lost ourselves
When time moved in the forth dimension
You and me
Sometimes Sunshine,
Sometimes Rain
Horizon spoke with Rainbows
Then dreams played with my blue Sky
And I was bright as the Evening Star

*snaps fingers*
Was a bit of banter in a rap back and fourth with my bestie Dre, but it actually works alright as a metaphor for a cheating partner being found out...I could be reaching with that one though. Oh well
