The sky is crying.
It’s shedding tears of loneliness and sorrow.
Puddles of its feelings have formed on the ground.
While kids with red boots trample all over them.

I’m probably a bad person.
Since I enjoy its weeping.
But I cannot help it.
I find it to be cathartic.
The brightest colors turn opaque.
While a place that was once silent fills with the sound of loud whimper.
Its tears make me forget my own.
As the clouds roar in pain while being consoled by the cold wind.

But its no use.
The sky wants to shed some tears tonight.
And with every drop,
Every sob.
I can feel the sky,
getting vulnerable for everyone to see.
Being able to expose everything.
Anytime.
Doing it in pain yet gracefully.
Isn’t that just beautiful.
I would say I’m in love with you
But that wouldn’t be true.
Because I’m not in love with you.
Just with the thought of you.

I'm in love with the thought of traveling together.
To the place our hearts lead us.
Hand in hand,
as we see our dreams come true.

Or just the thought of staying at home.
Binge watching our favorite series.
While eating all that we shouldn’t.
Regretting it after.
But doing it all again the next week.

I'm in love with the thought of loving you.
Warming up in your embrace.
While our hands fit in the right place.
And your kisses softly becomes bliss.

Or just the thought of spending
Every birthday,
Every holiday,
Every day.
With you.

But then again,
I’m not in love with you.
Just with the thought of you.
Who knows. I might be in love with you after all.

Your name was the sweetest honey,
but now it taste acid.
You harm more than any bottle of acid.
With passage of time,
She perceived that you were a sweet poison.
Now don't come to feed her heart again.
You knew she is fragile,
and you saw she's about to break.
Yet you desired for her lust not love.
You just want to intertwine her body,
while she urged to tangle your mind.
She loved you,
she consumed you so candidly.
now she tore your shamming love apart,
And knitted the scar you left.
You were never her cup of tea.
still she's not lost.

She is the bird who fell for you,
So make sure she flies again.

You left her drowning and
then she became a mermaid.

If I could
pinpoint the
exact moment
your breath
touched mine
washed me over
in ocean waves
sea creatures glowing
in delightful recognition
as the seedlings
of connection
shimmied into our being
and, dancing within me
in its own lifeforce
your mind a living,
breathing animal
your heart, purring
and whirring its sacred forces
into my molecular structures
your soul throbbing
in mitochondric pulsing
(oh what
a delicious vibration
of ribosomes
)
Between us, we hold
the true treasures
close, in frothy
                       tenderness
a purity of the expanse
of our universe,
swathed in prismatic color
colors that shift,
these fresh hues
for which there are no name
they are lucid and fine-woven
as silk histories
yet deep as earthcore
your eyes, voice
are forever burned
into my own
every day scriptures
that rock my shattered parts
into wholeness
and,
like ancient magic,
I conjure forth
the holy gospel
rising from our bones
every second of
every minute
as our deepest fires
our most secret filth
our murky corners
our darkest hours
we weave into light
brilliant and lustrous
multi-layered in the richest
folds of the earth
and as you place me
upon the shores
of your garland-graced
                              throne
Now I'm alive in a new
kind of light
and
all I can do
is love
        and love
and love

olive
i told you i loved you
in a violet sea
under a setting sky

a magnificent orange
kissed your cheeks
before i could do it myself

we were intertwined
and the youthful night
lied before us

covered in our own colors
our love was even more handsome
and stirred between us

we were blind to the others
and halfway drowned in burnt sienna
when the sun had gone

we filled the empty night
painting the earth
with the color of our love
