The pen and my paper
my Lord and my Savior
Still all my days
remain so dark

Black blood , red ink
The thoughts on the brink
The sponge soaks up pain
Called my heart

The window and the glass
The curtain and the sash
There is no relief
On either side

I don't know how life became what it is
Sometimes it let's me go so down

I pound on the door
It won't open any more
The agony ending days
Remain unsealed

The blue of the sky
Just makes me want to cry
The emptiness of the void
scares me . . . to death

Volumes of paper
Each page my forsaker
My life is there
For all to see
Juse a poem .
The love of woman
flows through me
like the blood in my veins
The heart aches
with or without them
There is no air as fresh
as the kiss of the one you love
Can you compare the embrace
To that of God ?
There is nothing more beautiful
than watching her sleep in peace
Nothing can you share as endearing
The love of woman
makes me a man

Now and then,
not to forget when...
there's a feel of four
horsemen neck to
neck, flush with
*******.
Continually crossing
the lines that time
will tell.
To reveal the world
as an individual,
in a war of many...
should a heel be placed
upon good and evil.

I am the daughter of destiny
I watched your past mistakes
I let all your demons loose
So you might learn and grow
I have shaped your present
Shown you wisdom and strength
I have given you your freedom
Now into the future you go

I am the mother of mourning
I know all your unhappiness
I feel your tiredness and pain
When you hurt my heart bleeds
In this world of harsh reality
I will dry your saddest tears
I will heal your aching wounds
Hold you when you are in need

I am the sister of serenity
I am your light in the dark
The comfort of a quiet dream
Sent to help you rest at ease
I will be your guardian angel
Your protector and your guide
I will send you thoughts of love
So that your soul knows peace

Papercut

When my finger met the paper, in a brief love affair, it took my blood as a trophy.
Then the red droplets created a beautiful mess as they sank into the dead white wood.
It stung badly, and it continued to hurt as I went on a mission to find a bandage that
could keep the crimson art inside of me, instead of spilling it everywhere.
When I wiped the excess blood away I saw nothing, yet I was still in pain.
But what hurts the most right now is my heart, because just like I couldn’t
see the papercut, you can’t see my broken heart either, and it is bleeding heavily.
Because of you.
And I can’t seem to find a bandage big enough to heal the
hole you left in my dying heart.
I am so happy that my poem was selected as a daily. That is so unbelievable on so many levels. Thank you so very much to all of your comments, likes and reposts. It means the world to me! :)

Everytime you bring me back from
The shore of infinity
Dragging my soul through waves
Sprinkling foamy stardust on my eyelids.
I open them
And find your shadow more pale
Than yesterday's dream.
You carry my wings
Your shoulders under my feathers
Expand wider than western horizon.
I melt and spread
Like a field of sunny tangerine
On your patient chest.
An ocean that is sweeter than freedom
Deeper than the blues of Pacific.

Looking at the birds
Little girl thinks,
"How sweet it would have been
If I had wings."

Looking at the girl
Caged birds sing,
**"No birds would be flying in the sky
If humans got wings."
