Any song can sound sweet,
if you tune your tone appropriately,
and add a lyric,
with a melody
and I have seen where there is a life,
there is a song
but some songs are not only a love song
that notion was a loop, intense, black and blue passionate song
was not romantic

She was a sad song
and I thought I would know how to make it better
like if I could be the only to love her again,
I believed that everything would fall into a melodious love song
but  I lost a few lines of lyrics
and there was bit melody missing that I couldn't find
and I saw too many scratches on the disc
I couldn't let myself be made no longer
trying to fix her entirety.

scratches on the disc
We walk around in solitude,
And stand by ourselves.
Our eyes see each other:
Flesh, and flesh alone is what we see,
It's what we seek.

We want the outer shell.
The soul is just an addition on the inside;
A thing hidden from the world,
That's not to be considered:
Just ignored and suppressed.

We're dominated in our minds,
We're slaves of the likes and the trends,
We want to be who they see us as,
But they, but we, but everybody can only see the flesh;
And that is what we seek.

We won't believe in what can't be seen.
We've grown to forsake the lurking monsters,
They were banished by rationality;
And when our conscience raises it's head,
It's just ignored and oppressed.

We've turned into Automatons;
Mannequins, who can style themselves.
The soul, hidden inside,
Is something that can't be seen,
And so, it isn't considered, isn't wanted;
Only flesh is what we seek.

While our soul shrivels up, decayed and decrypt,
Our flesh, we keep intact.
We swallow the infernal ache,
And plaster the cracks on our smiling face--
And the cries of our soul, we keep repressed.

*For, we care for what they see.
They can only see the flesh,
And flesh is what they seek.
When
Someone asks
Me
Who are you?

This guy
With some
Mass
Having
Senses

Called as
Human

Is that me?

May be
Not

I am something
Which I cannot

Interprete

I know what
I am

But, really
I cannot
Feel
What I am?

I am filled
With me

But, I am
Empty
Within me

This emptiness
Came because of
My lack of
Knowing
What really
I am? ...
Some say it's
Kind of deviation

But, I really
Want to know
What I am???
The dress clung to me
As I stood
Lost
Staring, staring back at the stranger
The mirror offered a glimpse
Of me,
The messed up stranger smiled
With heartbreak resting on each drugged eyelid
Pain
Coagulating in each vein
Every vein.
The stranger tore her dress
My arm became cold, so cold.
My heart became frozen,
Broken,
This time beyond repair.
Can you tell me what true love is like?
Like gold spun into silk?
Or maybe it’s be just like,
A perfect glass of milk.
Perhaps, like a beautiful field,
Admired from afar.
Or instead, a road with no sign to yield;
A song on in your car?
Tear drops that will never fall;
A child that can’t stay still?
A dog that has a rubber ball,
Or a fire you’d never ****.
An angel spotted near the Heavens,
Or a devil far below.
A jackpot; three sevens?
Bare feet on icy snow?
Can you tell me what true love is like?
Is it painful? Is it nice?
Please, tell me what true love is like.
For I fear its grip is upon me like a vice.
Written 9-8-14
He gave me his
jacket
and it smelled like
him and smoke
and I knew why
but I wore it anyway.

The day he
disappeared
it was cold outside so
I wore his jacket
and
wiped my nose on the sleeves.

We got the call from the
psych ward
three days later and I couldn't
see him
or
hold him
so I buried my face in his jacket
even though it smelled like smoke
and I knew why.

I kept it
stuffed in the corner between
the wall and my bed
so on the nights when I
missed him too much to sleep
I could wrap myself in it
even though
it didn't smell like him anymore.

When he came back
a month later
and I saw him in
a crowded hallway
he looked at me and
smiled
when he noticed I was wearing
his jacket
and he
hugged me
so it smelled like him again.

I still
wear his jacket
when I can't sleep at night.
The next time someone asks you if you're okay
And you routinely go to say
I'm fine,
Hold your tongue,
You're doing no wrong,
By simply being human.
As we travel lifes long road
We meet and make new friends
And even though the friends may go
The friendship never ends

That is how it is with you
You gave me a fresh start
You gave me vision, you gave me hope
You touched and healed my heart

You gave me strength to do the things
You knew that I could do
You inspired me in so many ways
I can't begin to repay you

You're always there when I need you most
Somehow you seem to know
And that is why I hope and pray
Our friendship continues to grow
I found this in an old journal, I know the first stanza is a quote from a famous poet/person ( if you know the name please tell me) the rest, to be honest, I'm not sure if I wrote it or if it's all from that poet. I wrote it in my journal about ten years ago, so I'm really unsure. If you know, please tell me.

Update: The Original Author is
Kunal Badlani

I'd like to dedicate this to Frank, Adam, Jordan, Quin, Rose, Natasha, and Rino. Thank you all, for being my friends. I can't tell you how much it means to me.

I love you all.
