it's so hard for me to start conversations because i'm hopelessly picky.
if i talk to you, i want to talk about something that will keep the conversation going.
i hate when there's silence, and i hate when i struggle to find something to reply with.
i hate when you send "yeah" or "okay" because that means this conversation is over and i have to struggle to start a new one.
i don't want to bore you with my weak attempts at keeping you close.
i want you to talk to me, i want you to want to talk to me.
i want enthusiasm and i don't want to have to rattle my brain to keep it up, because it was never like that.
but it's not as easy as it used to be.
i revel in the rare days that we talk nonstop for hours.
the days where conversation is so simple and never wears out.
but i know that after a day like that
there's only silence until one of us figures out something else to say.

Always Ally
Alone isn't physical
it's emotional
it's mental
I'm always alone
in my head
telling lies I turn into truths
I'm never not going to be alone
I'm never going to get better
alone
me, myself, and I

Nameless stranger
Come and be my friend
Let us explore this life together
Let us enjoy it before it ends
Read me your so many books
And I shall read you mine
To explore worlds beyond our reach
Worlds made up by authors minds'
Let us learn about ourselves
Let us learn about the world
A world so divine
Yet somehow brutal and cold
Nameless stranger
Come and take my hand
Tell me all your little secrets
And I shall tell you mine
Show me what are you hiding behind those fake smiles
And the pains you conceal behind pretentious happy eyes
Tell me how they broke your heart
And laughed out loud at your pains
And I will show you my broken parts
All the dreams that went in vain
Be careful from my sharp edges
I don't want to cause you another scar
Or add a new wound to your still bleeding heart
A nameless stranger
Yet you are no stranger at all
Those who have experienced agony
Can recognize souls as damaged as their own.
I wrote this based on an actual stranger I saw a couple of times,
If you notice any mistakes in spelling/grammar do tell me, I'd much appreciate it

Hello World,
the other day i almost killed myself
but then i looked outside
at all the beauty in the world
from the dead it'd surely hide

Hello World,
the other day i looked in the mirror
and squeezed my rolls so tight
hoping they would just pop off
and roll into the night
but then i remembered
these squishy things
have held some favorites of mine
and they are beautiful in every light
regardless, they are mine

Hello World,
the other day some boy i liked
told me i was weird
that i was crazy and not his type
what i had always feared
but then i heard his jokes were lame
and we can't have that here
of all **** jocks
he was the same
high school boys not worth their tears

Hello World,
you have so much left to offer
i have only just begun
all these problems are temporary
so worrying is just dumb

I am adept
In the art of being okay
I have mastered the craft
Of covering my troubles
I use all sorts of fancy facades
Acrylic, oil, watercolor
You name it.

I can paint over nearly anything

You will never know
How late I was up last night
Or why.

My eyes flicker
Like candlelight
But you couldn’t see
You couldn’t possibly see
I’m too good
For that.

I can dance, too
Waltzing away my sorrows
Carefully tip toe-ing the
Pas-de-I-am-fine
I get a standing ovation every time

I’m very talented, you see.

But my all time favorite
Is my disappearing act
I’m still perfecting it
Right now
But one of these days
I’ll show you
How I
Slip
Slip
Slip
Away

Right through your fingers.

It took me seven years
to realise
the words in my mind
were too deep for
my mouth to dig up
I thought it was easier
to open my skin
and let the truth
pour down my arms

It took me seven years
to realise
nobody should be allowed
to touch parts
of your home
or hold pieces
of your heart
that you don't yet understand

It took me seven years
to realise
I will wear these scars
forever
I'll carry them
through every smile
every kiss
every concerned gaze
I'll carry them
to my grave

It took me seven years
to realise
the pain carved
into the walls
of my castle
etchings of
attempting to disappear
are not a story of weakness
but a tale of
how I survived

empty seas
the anger
pulsed
pushed
through the air

pushed
pulled
at my head

i could not leave
could not shut
it out
could not feel
fine
can’t be calm

the anger
it pulls
wraps its arms
around me
pulls itself
into that empty place
above my stomach
in my ribcage
it was them
and now
is me

they put
the anger there
placed it
by the force
of the looks
the words
the tears
the anger is
all around
you
are not
you
are never
you
will never be
you

anxiety is
not just fear
it is
primal
the rage
the fear
it wraps itself
in you
and you can only
channel it
inwards
you can only
self destruct

anxiety and anger
are two sides
of the same coin
and i
flip
between
the two
until
i stop
being
anything
at all
i flip
and i flip
somedays
it seems like
the only thing
i do
